Daily Update 10/1

So news on the job search, I am pretty sure that I found a job. I was told they were very interested in my application mainly due to my 7 years of managerial experience. I was also told I would be called in around a week to set up an interview, so that means I have some time to get that coding work done that I needed to get done for MH.

     I was talking before about fixing the way the "Wait" button works, by moving all the background images from label code to screen code. It is one of the main changes that I want completed for the next update. Essentially the next update is going to be fixing the Wait button adding the first "tattoo" position for Roxy, Sylphy, and Eris, and also remaking the bathroom position animations for all the girls, I plan on remaking all of them but it comes down to time, I may not have enough time to get all of them done. Because I also need to start modeling the demon continent stuff, my plan is to spend half my time on demon continent stuff and the other half of the time on remaking the old house animations. I also want to get the animations for everyone up to all 10 positions, and by the time the Demon Continent update comes out I will also probably have Her Fall completely finished, which means I want to have the first 5 positions and stories done for Misaki, Rumi, Akari and Josie. So the Demon Continent will have 5 girls added in that update. As well as the whole new area, and a new city to explore.

There are a couple of things I am debating on. I would love some of your thoughts on this subject anyone that is willing to comment on this post/message me on discord if thats easier for you.

1. Should we have a home in each continent like stay at an inn OR use a teleporter to teleport home? Obviously 1 less thing to model makes life a bit easier for me lol. But also I feel it would be more realistic to the story to stay at an inn, but doing that route means you would be unable to view your sex scenes/animations while you are in a different area... So... idk which would be a better way to go about it.

2. Should we be resetting the Mission Ranks for each area? It is a thing in the source material that each guild area has different ranks, like being an A Ranked Adventurer in Asura does not mean you are an A Rank Adventurer in the Demon Continent or Millis. I was debating resetting the play level as well, but I am unsure how to code it so that their are different levels for different Areas. Honestly I am debating looking into lowering the exp rate by ALOT I was thinking since we have a max level of 120 now. I think it would make more sense if you only hit level 120 by the time you reach the 5th Area. Like maybe something like having a level cap for each area or something?

3. I can add audio/sex sounds to this game the same way I did for Her Fall, but the issue is  Everyone knows the voice actors for these characters and I can not get the same voice actors, So I would be using the Koikatsu voices. Given that do you want sex sounds/moaning sounds even if they will not sound like the characters? There are a couple of ways I could go about it, I have thought about doing a poll about this before. Like I could just add the sex sounds like the slapping and squirting sounds but no moaning. Or I could look into AI to recreate the voice actors BUT! I think that could be something that could get me sued so I really think that is not a good idea lol.
So essentially the choice would be different voice actor or just slapping sounds or leave it without audio.


OK I got way off track, Today I finished fixing the Wait button IN THE HOUSE! That's kind of important. I haven't fixed it for outside of the house yet, but it took 8 hours of coding to get it fixed in the house lol. I am going to finish it for the rest of the areas tomorrow. Then also get started on remaking all the bathroom sex positions. I will update you tomorrow with some of the new finished animations. I will check this post tomorrow to see if there are any comments so this is your chance to say Whos animations I should make first. Since whoever gets made first those are the animations you will see tomorrow.
