Daily Update 10/6

So I normally wouldn't make 2 updates back to back like this. But I am still awake from the last one. Been a long day another one of those nearly 2 days straight kind of days.

But the good news is I tracked down a couple more bugs, still can not figure out what is causing the one that makes no sense. It's an integer saying it's out of range. I know this bug exists, hell I have known about it for the last 4 updates. But I have never been able to replicate it. I need to be able to say doing these steps exactly causes it to happen, because a repeatable bug like that is easily fixed. This issue seems to come and go. It will crash your game randomly when you try to sleep. With 0 reason. I have had a few different people try to find an exact way to recreate the issue so that I could fix it but luck so far.

But I wanted to get the not cool news out of the way to get the cool news ready to shock your faces. I finished the new gallery. Well setting it up and coding it. I am currently adding the scenes and what not to it. I am starting off by coding all the patron scenes. Because no matter how they vote, I'm sure they will want to be able to see the scenes in their own version of the game. So yea. I made the gallery very dynamic, I can essentially go in and toss 3 lines of code infront of and behind any sex scene and boom its gallery ready. I really like it. So thats 100% going to in the next update. The way it works is you open the gallery, click on a category ie Lovenest, Bathroom, Dates, and Side Stories. (Last one may not be there as the vote is still pending.)

But after you click a category if gives you a list of the girls, you click that and you instantly see all the Gallery scenes that you have seen in the game. So if you see a sexual position once it will just instantly boop into the gallery. Kinda cool eh? So when I wake up, I am going to finish adding the code for the side stories, then get started on adding the positions to the gallery. Which should go WAY faster than adding the side stories. Then after that if I am still alive I am going to get back to working on the nifty skills system that I already got most of the ground work done for.

I can not explain to you how excited I am for this new skill system. I love coding challenges for myself and this sure is one. If only I had a clue about what was causing that longstanding bug I would solve it already. The only information I get from people is generally... It happened when I went to sleep. Occasionally I get, it happened when I slept on x bed. or on x day of the week, or on x time. But its completely different and random when it seems to happen, I have rewritten the code for going to sleep multiple times so that is clearly not the cause.

So if any of you encounter that bug, please give a detailed account of like the last 15 things you did before it crashed, an example that I could actually use to narrow it down.

"I just finished my 25th B Rank battle, I talked to Linia, I spammed the wait button, and went to sleep in my bed. I woke up the next day it was a wednesday I talked to Linia again and waited then went to sleep and crashed." At least with a report like that I would be like... Hm... well I need to do a deep dive on Linia's code, the Sleeping code again, and apparently see if anything special happens on a wednesday. IDK I am just rambling because I am dead tired and can't think straight at this point anymore lol. Well I will talk to you all tomorrow.
