Lots of fun drawing this one. I’m really enjoying drawing landscapes and trying to improve backgrounds with each drawing. At the time I finished this one I was feeling iffy about the pose/facial expression of the mailman in the final panel, kind of wishing I went with something a little more emphasized instead of the understated reaction here. But looking at it with fresh eyes a day later I’m happy with it and I think the subdued disappointment actually adds a bit to the humor.
