Oh Dan, I know sweet Crusty has departed, but I am new to your Patreon. I am a professional cat groomer and I need you to know that you are NOT the only one to have this happen. I see this all the time, it even happens to professional groomers. Cat skin is NOTORIOUSLY tissue thin. Especially older cats or cats with kidney issues etc. It is SUPER easy to nick and can tear. A lot of the time it looks worse than it is. I know it is very hard to find a cat-centric groomer that is actually good and if you do they may have a waiting list. Cat grooming is becoming more of a thing now, so hopefully that will change.
