Added 2023-11-28 00:26:50 +0000 UTCnot gonna lie….got a little depressed and spent a few days in bed. i miss crusty meow. i was ok until….i got a second degree burn on my hand from accidentally picking up a lava hot broiler pan. it’s been a helluva couple of weeks. i’m going to be posting again this week. finally feeling up to it. just wanted to update everyone. got a lot of messages asking if i was ok. i am and thank you all for thinking about me. -dan

Grief over loss of a pet is very real and extremely painful. Don't let anyone ever tell you "it was just an animal". I have grieved harder over pets than I have for people.

2023-11-28 08:52:42 +0000 UTCI really did miss your posts Dan people need time to grieve. I had to have both my cats put down, a 16 yr old in the spring and a 20 yr old last summer. Needless to say, pets become a major part of our lives. We can't just say goodbye and then go merrily on our way. Just take care of yourself and be careful. Grief is a big distraction on our minds. We don't want you getting anything worse than a burn ❤️🤗

Turned out to be a huge squirrel complex in our attic. It was so big at first it looked like a body buried under a pile of old yard trash.

When you follow someone’s content, you get to know them on a certain level, and in most cases that means their pets too. We all got to see Crusty Meow’s journey through you once he came into your home. So yeah, I was sad to hear of his passing. Another severed link to you know who too.
