There will be a delay for Demo 2. Here's why.
Added 2018-03-20 18:32:40 +0000 UTCOkay, some real talk here since I don't think Demo 2 won't be out for a long while.
On February 19th, I launched my Patreon page with the first version of my demo.
On February 20th, I had a consultation for a recurring condition that had been plaguing me for a year.
After that consultation, I decided to take a low-risk surgery to prevent this "recurring condition" from happening again.
Today on March 20th, one month exactly after the consultation, I was called for a screening to do some lab work.
Within the first 2 weeks of April, I will be going for surgery.
I was optimistic I could get the new Demo started in the game during the month, but I haven't received any resources yet, as the artist I commissioned received a few commissions at once.
And, when I go for this surgery, I'll be out of action for a tiny while to recover from it.
The recovery for this surgery, however, isn't bad. The time staying at the hospital after is normally 1 to 2 days
and most people completely recover within two weeks
What I'm worried about is that it will delay the demo production even longer, even though it's only maybe a week or two
Of course it's silly to say that I'm worried about that when I'm going into surgery, but it's such a low risk one that death was not listed as a possibility, even during the worst case scenarios.
So I am worried about how this will impact my ability to work on writing scripts/implementing them into the game.
even if it's only for a short while.
Thanks for reading and I hope you understand.
