Buyer protection on ebay is quite high, seller protection not so much so. I sold the Drill Core through private messages for US$600 after the failed ebay one. Same thing happened to me selling Atrox last year. Luckily in that case the second highest bidders were real and I made contact with them, but for the Drill Core, the top NINE bidders were all trolls trying to out troll each other. Nine "second chance offers". Nine "oh actually I have no money sorry bout that" replies.
