BRASS!
Added 2020-02-29 04:54:25 +0000 UTCOh boy oh boy it has been a trip. I've never really worked with brass before, never mind huge 1/2" thick plates. This sword has more work in it, but I think I have all the technical details ironed out, like how I am mounting the gemstones, how I am fusing the brass and Hardox plate etc etc. The next sword will be more fun to make, but I am learning a lot of stuff doing this one.
