I was recently contacted by a crowd that wanted me to do an ad in front of a video, but I didn't want to put the ad in front of the video for the Requiem Build video I'm STILL working on, I think the full build videos should be sacred in that regard (I think when people have sent me free stuff out of the blue I give those guys a shout out, but I'd feel queasy doing the a full preroll ad that has nothing to do with tools or metalwork in front of a full length video you guys funded). I've wanted to try doing a sword as fast as possible for a while but couldn't justify doing it in the face of all the actual paid work I should be doing instead, until these guys approached me and I remembered that I wanted to try this, it suddenly became viable. So anyway, I'm uploading a version of this short build here here WITH NO ADS AT ALL just for my Patreons.
