I still think it's hard to tell that it's just over 7 feet long. I retreated into my house today to post this, while nowhere near as cold as other parts of the country, I'm going to wait till I can feel my feet before I head back out there. Note the unsharpened piece on the tip of the blade, it gives me something to clamp to. Usually my blades are basically flat with a sharpened edge, because of the fuller and the large bevel it is difficult to get this guy clamped, hence leaving the tip blunt until the end. So that's all the parts done. Now it's just lots of welding (followed by lots of grinding). Like I said in my live stream, this sword (and the video) will be done soon enough that I don't think it will interfere with next months sword being finished by the end of February. Speaking of livestreams, see all you guys on Monday!
