So I wanted to post this video on Sunday, it's the lockblade video with everything up to the Zinc dip done, and it has a card at the end saying "join me for the livestream where I'll call the Plating place and find out exactly when I'm getting the handle back" but:
A/ 11:00 pm on Sunday, Imovie Failed to export the project.
B/ After restarting the computer, deleting Imovie's preference list, clips I thought might be causing the problem, and experimentally attempting to export projects I had exported fine on Saturday, I determined Imovie had lost the ability to export anything.
C/ At around 1:00 am I remembered that there is an ability to send an Imovie project to Final Cut Pro (which I have but rarely use) so I sent the file there and success! It started to export properly. The only curwibble was instead of being a .mp4, it was going to use the codec H.264 to make a .MOV, but hey, that's fine, it's on youtube's list of recommended codecs; https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1722171?hl=en
D/ Around 2:30 am the export is complete is so I begin to upload it and go to bed (the upload says it will take 2 and a half hours).
E/ I wake up at 6:30 so I stagger downstairs to check on it. Weird, I think, it's only at 52% uploaded 4 hours later. Troubled, I return to bed.
F/ At 10:30 I again wake up and come out the stairs, the upload is complete but is at 0% Processing. I hang around for a bit but the needle doesn't budge. The processing is usually something you can see progress in real time ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IipprSOU9yo
G/ I am going for a Walk https://imgur.com/r/thesimpsons/7juQG84 Join me for the Livestream at 2pm as usual and see has any progress been made!
