Link Master Sword Progress!
Added 2019-11-29 23:20:28 +0000 UTCSo if you have been following the livestreams you know I was struggling to get a place to anodize the parts, and finally when I got one the guy said on the phone that it came out weird, but he sent me back the "sample" (the pommel) and man, there's little speckly things on it but I still think it looks sweet. I wish I had known how good it was I would have been faster off the draw getting the guard to him too. The main work with the alu parts has been smoothing off every surface on them to prepare them to accept the anodize, and there are holes and such on the guard that need some filling. If you click through the pictures you can see my steel renderings of the 3d printed parts, so I think this one will be finished well before december ends, but it may interfere with the December video. What I'm saying is I'm way more comfortable charging for this not yet video yet, cause it's well over the 50% line, whereas I'm pretty sure the December sword WON'T be ready in time.
