2022-02-13 23:39:11 +0000 UTCSo far Lightbreaker is the only one that can break the damage limit. Velika might have a trick for getting around whatever protections the ship had or something. She miiight have broken the damage limit. But it's seen as nigh unbelievable at goldplate, and she's freshly minted. Of everyone in story thus far, I'd more readily believe Lavarro capable of breaking the damage limit at gold than Velika. Even with all the advantages of her being from a noble family (accolades, resources etc), Velika still saw Lavarro as stronger than her. Plus Lavarro being able to beat several(!) other goldplates while still at silver. If the upgrade to gold is at all like the one to silver, she's terrifyingly strong to be able to manage such a thing. Even a scrub goldplate should be far stronger than almost any silver.

Vals dad being able to vaporize a city is the only other simialr feat. Rains whole nich is causing a aoe effect, i can see Tallheart throwing rain at a on comoing enemy in the ocean, and rain lands in the ocean and uses immolate to create a evaporating sphere of space around him that just sink holes all nearby enemies into his deathzone. Better yet he and mahria could create a glacier that could fit a city on it, which could really be there armada frozen together create a giant floating fortress, which would allow them to easily bring the forgewagon

Hopefully it will make her easier to handle on their sea voyage. Tallheart's part is as always pure comedy. Good to see Mahria sticking around. And I loved how Val stopped moping when he saw the idiot get yeeted out into the sea. Things could always be worse.
