Upcoming Q and A

Going to do another q&a soon. So if you have any questions drop them below or send them to questionforbeau@ gmail.com.

I've been told to say that there are almost enough questions for Q&A episodes entirely focused on me answering dating questions, how to youtube questions, and emergency preparedness questions. So I guess if you have questions related to one of those topics, they want those especially.

I would like to see a video on whether Trump's previous pardons can be invalidated as a result of our justice system finding that Trump abused his pardon authority by selling pardons, or what can be done to reform the presidential pardon process.

Let's talk about what jobs are available to those work requirement for benefits. How can they get to work, can what they earn even come close to what they will lose in benefits. Let's talk about how forcing people deeper into poverty and despair creates crime, suicides, and possible violent mass casualty attacks.

Beau, in a recent video topic you discussed the multiple reasons for the democrats problem with messaging. Of all you provided, I have to wonder if their inability or feeling they should not have to explain things is one of the biggest complaints many Americans may have with the democratic party. I say this as a Democrat myself, I can see how it can make them appear as being elitist or snobbish. Both which would be incredibly offensive. That said, how can we as average americans who feel the democrats ( mainly progressives democrats) however horribly flawed they may be, are at least trying to create legislation to help Americans and move the country forward. I mean if we are not part of the solution, we are part of the problem. So how can we be part of the solution by helping the democratic party fix their messaging problem. As how can anyone change if they do not truly understand they have a problem. So, whatever the reason the democratic party either doesn't know, or is so arrogant, or is woefully in denial of having a problem with messaging, including explaining what is truly going on, they need our help in opening their eyes that they have a serious issue with reach and connecting with the American people in a genuine way.

Let's talk about what resources, if any, the government can constitutionally bring to bear if a militia attacks.

The time for this question is well-past, but it still bothers me, so here goes. My understanding of the "illegal order" doctrine is that officers are expected to disobey what they see as illegal orders, and then will be before a court-martial to justify their actions, and are expected to live with the consequences. Obeying orders is fundamental to military discipline, but... The testimony of the General (GENERAL!) in charge of the DC National Guard was frightening. It seemed that he was well aware of the illegal nature of the order to not go to the Capitol, but was not willing to cross that line. WTF!!!??? Did not the Army Chief of Staff have a very direct statement to the troops about not obeying illegal orders just a few days before?

Gilmore Girls q....Who do you think is the father of rorys baby? I say its a donor from paris' fertility clinic. Who would you want it to be? New q Have you finished your book? Will you be doing a self recorded audio one?

Tell us about cool new stuff you're aware of and excited about (i.e. space exploration, ecology, tractors, medical advances, the world becoming a better place in unexpected ways, etc) that's not enough for a video OR something along those lines that's promising but not quite there yet. Love your channel, going through a dark time right now, asking for some long term optimism here.

Living in a beach city in SoCal my biggest worry is earthquakes. Living in a condo building (3rd floor of 3 plus subterranean garage) practically on top of fault that has caused large quakes in the past I have two questions. 1. What's my best way to store items that can be grab and go when officials are saying have a 10 days of supplies. I really don't know how to do this when there is a chance of this building being damaged or come down in a large quake. Do I need to also have supplies elsewhere or is it better to just store them somewhere we can get to easily? 2. How the hell do I survive if I am in this building and it comes down? What things do I need to know. You focus a lot on hurricanes and tornadoes for obvious reasons but I'd like some useful info for my situation. With SoCal being dominated by single family homes there's not a lot out there for my situation to help me figure out just what the hell I need to know. 3.To make things extra challenging both myself and son have special dietary needs. His is easier than mine to contend with. Plenty of gluten free shelf stable options available. Corn free and low-FODMAP is an entirely different challenge. Do I just say screw mine and do the best I can in an emergency situation and deal with migraines etc that will follow or do I need to find a way to create my own packs of safe food so I have a clear head?

Beau, you're married with 4 children (if I remember correctly). You've been out of the "dating game" for a good while now so why would it occur to me (or anyone else) to ask you dating questions? You're a good guy so you'll probably have some good advice or suggestions but this subject just doesn't seem to be your "niche of expertise". Do you have any idea how these questions started coming about in the first place?

I like the emergency preparedness videos. However, as a disabled single older woman (56) responsible for elderly parents (both 86), I’d love something about “bugging in” and also about preparing for evacuation by car. I camped and backpacked a lot in my teens and twenties and my physical limitations make the idea of a night on the ground for me alone nightmare-ish, let alone with my parents. So while I have a bug-out bag and EDC following your previous Roads video, I doubt how functionally useful is is given my physical limitations.

Why can we not declare no confidence in those that clearly lie and manipulate to get power? I really want to sue the govt for our quality of life and non- performance. They do not represent us. They do not work for our benefit - save a few true civil servants. They work for themselves and the machine that keeps us where we are- as their feedstock. Profit comes from labor and perceived value. Their profit is literally our compensation. And then the false values they spread to get the rest of our compensation! This is why they are so concerned with 'domestic stock' . With our bodies and our choices. This is not the purpose of our country. Those men who wrote the constitution and worked to build 'America', they didn't always agree. But they new that what they were building was more important than any of their differences. I thought that's what govt was supposed to be and do. We used to have real conversations about the state of - well - everything. There is no more of that. These few men have hijacked our lives, our country, even some of our loved ones. Why can we not sue them for compensation , or prosecute for treason?

You are quite reluctant to talk about your life history, but given your wide range of skills, fans are interested. Skipping over your adult life, would you tell us a bit more about childhood Beau. I think you've said you were in FFA, and I think you were a military brat for at least part of your childhood. Did you ever live outside of the South as a kid? Overseas? Were any relatives full-time farmers? Were you a Boy Scout? Play any sports in high school? Other notable features of your childhood? Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks.

In a different Q&A” you said you would eliminate “the term re-elect” from the English lexicon if given the change. I’ve been an avid viewer of your content for a few years and I have never heard you bring this up again. Could you extrapolate on your position?

I’m going to preface my comment here by stating that in order to save time, I did a little copy and paste information from wiki pages re: Ginni Thomas and Fox News. The other quote marks are mine for emphasis/clarification. Why couldn't anyone see a coup in the near future as Trump built his first campaign team? Certainly, someone could have figured it out by 2017 [see: Guess Who Came to Dinner With Flynn and Putin - NBC News April 18, 2017]. I’m still not sure why Jill Stein was there, but I have my hypothesis. Why couldn’t anyone figure out Mitch McConnell’s “Long Game” (see title of his autobiography) before, if not at least during Trump's four years? Among other things Mitch did quietly behind the curtain of the Trump show, McConnell finished off his "coup" of the Supreme Court that he was working on during the Obama years. And while I’m on the topic of SCOTUS, even though spouses of Supreme Court justices typically avoid politics, Ginni Thomas certainly never has. After all, she was working for Hal Daub (see no surprise to me re: Trump misogyny or sexist remarks) when she married Clarence, who BTW was Chair of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission under Reagan and Bush (see connection to Ginni’s first job, and my final question regarding how we got into this political mess... “After [Ginni] Thomas graduated from Creighton University School of Law, she worked for the United States Chamber of Commerce. She later worked for the United States Department of Labor and as an aide to Republican Dick Armey while he was a member of the House of Representatives. In 2000, she joined The Heritage Foundation, where she was a liaison between the conservative think tank and the George W. Bush administration. In 2009, Thomas founded Liberty Central, a conservative political advocacy nonprofit organization associated with the Tea Party movement.” How many times did we hear "unprecedented" during the Trumpian years? Everyone seemed so surprised. I wasn’t. Doesn't anyone realize that the GOP has had their think tank attorneys combing through the "laws" in government for decades to discover what were the "rules" and what was simply common courtesy, fair play across the isles if you will? Why couldn’t anyone see that we no longer had a working-class representative party in Washington DC after the DNC - Third-way Clinton Dems, including Biden, late comers as they were, joined in the Corporate Pay-to-Play game? Didn’t anyone see how cleverly “marketed” politics and politicians became after Nixon? That’s how we ended up with sunny-cheeked Reagan and sexy sax man Clinton as Presidents. Branding of our politics over substance is also how we ended up with George Dub-u-a instead of his bro, Jeb. Little George sounds more like down home folk, while Jeb came off as too intaleckshuall. Why couldn’t anyone see that Fox News was no accident? Afterall, Murdoch hired former U.S. Republican Party political strategist and NBC executive Roger Ailes to get it up and running in style on October 7, 1996. Faux News created the Bush sandwich in which Clinton became the dead meat. “From the beginning, FNC has placed heavy emphasis on visual presentation. Graphics were designed to be colorful and gain attention; this helped the viewer to grasp the main points of what was being said, even if they could not hear the host (with on-screen text summarizing the position of the interviewer or speaker, and "bullet points" when a host was delivering commentary).” - - It is called Dumbing Down folks. Fox News also created the "Fox News Alert" Now, everything on Fox is an alert – a scare tactic. The GOP isn’t held hostage to being the party of Trump, they possibly planned it that way. And if they didn’t, they have learned a lot from their marketing think tanks, Trump’s, and even more so Murdoch’s, understanding of thought reform (see Robert J Lifton ‘an American psychiatrist and author, chiefly known for his studies of the psychological causes and effects of wars and political violence, and for his theory of thought reform.”) I’ll leave you with this question and ask you to discuss one of the most overlooked and important documents ever written that explains how we got from President John F Kennedy to Donald (organized crime family) Trump as POTUS. A little backstory: My mother was an elected union official/delegate (who worked with Chavez on the formation of the UFW – that’s Cesar Chavez, who BTW, was opposed to illegal immigration and wanted to see immigration reform in the 1960’s). I’m a 10th grade high school drop-out who has followed government news since the days when I discovered Ramparts magazine and hitchhiked to Sproul Hall in the 1960’s. In 1971/72, my mother came home from a union convention in Washington DC, with a leaked document and a warning. The document was a confidential memorandum for the US Chamber of Commerce entitled "Attack on the American Free Enterprise System," an anti-Communist and anti-New Deal blueprint for conservative business interests to retake America, later simply referred to as The Powell Memorandum. Her warning was that the destruction/takeover of our government would not come from outside the US, but from within. I’ve watched the takeover unfold since then, and the Corporate Coup is headed towards the finish line. Why, since then, couldn’t anyone figure out that The United States Chamber of Commerce started their corporate government take-over “Coup” in 1971? And more importantly, how can we get some conversations started to reunite the working class? I have some ideas.

Wondered if you can give your insight into what’s going on with DeSantis and Disney?

From your comments thread: "Do I understand you to say that some men and women are born warriors while others are by nature workers who can't be trained to become competent fighters? Would you expand on that idea please? It suggests that an all volunteer army is necessarily stronger than an army of conscripts and that the Vietnam draft was a wasteful use of human capital by a militarily incompetent leadership ignorant of this important distinction."

Beau, just wanted to ask your opinion. I want to do something to help the Ukrainians, buying a coffee mug just aint doing it. I want to know if you have an opinion with regards to the 69th sniffing brigade and NAFO in general which appears to be a noble cause...your thoughts would be appreciated.

Soooo... the lighting in the new place still not quite right. But I'm guessing you know that. Too many shadows maybe? I'm not a light tech or a photographer.. but there is something jarring about the 3 or 4 shadows from your hat on your face. Hubby a big fan of emergency preparedness so those are always good. I am concerned about the polarization of the government and now the society. On the one hand I get it. I'm to the point where I'm ready to say just "fuck all you assholes" and just burn it down. It would be satisfying to watch the flames. But that's frustration talking. I'm pretty much over capitalism at this point as I see that as being one of the problems.. so that drives me even more to the just burn it all down column. I see too many problems and no solutions. I mean.. a decade ago I hoped for election reform to try to help undo the mess they made in the 90's. But we can't even agree on women's lives.. .no way we can agree on how many political parties should be 'allowed' and that maybe we should be spending billions on real things like food and shelter not demonstratively false TV ads. We have people working all over the world trying to make it a better place. But many of them still come from the 'bountiful and beneficent' white savior mindset. And many can not see that everyone is not in the same place they are. Like Maslov... if I'm struggling with my physical health and to find food.. it's really hard for me to focus on how to be concerned about whether the tax structure is fair or if we should be putting more money into the arts. I'm poor. I'm anti-social. Until June 1st I do at least have a roof over my head thanks to the VA. I've been saving up some to try to be ready if my husband's VA disability doesn't come. I'm basically housebound as I'm caregiver to 3. So I'm much better off than millions of Americans. But it's exhausting. What can I do to help that does not require peopling or cash? It's funny.. I started to say.. "what can I do to help put the country back to rights"... but it was never right. What can I do to help move this country forward to a place where people have equal rights and equal opportunities? Where fairness and civility have some place in society... in the hour I have between getting my mom her pills and driving my special needs daughter to her job. .... not asking much am I? ignore me. Emergency preparedness is great.

What I want to know is when it is evident that corruption has permeated every level of our government, and most of the GOP serve the billionaires who have paid to get them elected ( in the same way they have bought Supreme Court justices) how are we not at that point where the founding fathers say we have the right to take up arms against the corrupt politicians who refuse to enact the will of the people (i.e abortion rights, voting rights, sensible gun laws, immigration reform, etc.) and are trying to gerrymander and suppress voters to maintain their positions. Why do we the people in the face of this overwhelming level of corruption and partisanship that sees our rights denied and people subjected to insane levels of personal risk, not have the right to kill these corrupt politicians and assert our rights.

So much in the world going on, it's hard to focus. How do you and your family keep yourselves happy? I mean, after 47 years of marriage, we have our little routines that make us laugh, smile and feel good about our life together. How do you and your wife keep that spark alive when you've both spent so much of your time learning, reacting, and commenting on the crappy parts?

Is your child's teacher a fan now that she probably knows you are on YouTube? I couldn't help laughing about that comment.
