Couldn't you record short snippets like "Testing " and adjust things quickly before recording the first video? Thinking about this, I get it might be part of your aesthetic so if that's the reason it's fine!

I went to the AAS (American Astronomical Society) and they have a list of approved glasses on their website. And promptly went an purchased a boatload of them since we are in the path and so I'll have some for my neighbors if anyone needs them.
