ONE MORE WEEK LEFT IN THE MARCHING SEASON! Almost there!
Today I am sitting in a stadium watching marching bands all day. It's rainy. I'm cold and wet. Send hot chocolate and towels!

We are continuing our journey through the Epic Narratives album. If you're wondering why I skipped over "Memorable" it's because I did a back-to-back reation of that song and "About Us," which had me in tears. I don't know what to expect, but I am excited to experience another song with all of you!

VAN-HALEN - "Top Jimmy"
I grew up listening to the most commonly heard songs by Van-Halen since my dad was a huge fan of the band, that and the Eagles. I always admired the guitar and the way his music made me feel. I have had many arguments with friends who have told me in the past that his music is "all the same" and "he doesn't sing," but I fight back. Since I am not well versed in VH, I am excited to dive down this path to see if I hear something I never heard before.
Exploring Birdsong - "Turntail"
I saw the thumbnail to this song and felt the sense that I needed to listen to this. Also, I am typing this on a gloomy day and it just feels right to listen to. Also, the name of the group is interesting. I was told this is progressive rock and I feel like I am starting to learn that I LOVE progressive rock.
BAND-MAID - "without holding back" (white room instrumental)
Having access to the score for these instrumentals is like having access to my favorite sweet to eat. I wanted to take a moment to hear more of the instrumentals until I run out of them! This one has been requested a little while ago so let's do this thing, right?
