We're Moving!
Added 2024-07-30 22:11:16 +0000 UTCI've mentioned in some recent reactions and a post on here last week that there have been some major things happening in my life. Well, I can finally share the details and let you know what that means as far as reactions go for the next 4-5 weeks
My husband was offered a job back in our home state of Indiana. While we hadn't planned to leave Colorado anytime soon and had planned to never go back to Indiana, it's too good of an opportunity to pass up.
So, in the span of less than two weeks he's accepted the job, I got a house lined up for us, we've paired down our belongings and packed about 80% of what's left, we're leaving in the morning to take the first of at least two 18-hour road trips to get our stuff moved to the new place, we've hired a realtor, and have begun prepping our current home to put on the market in two weeks so we can make the final move by the end of August.
If that all wasn't chaotic enough, I found out yesterday that I now have to get a root canal in the middle of all this. Plus, a rock hit my window on the way to the dentist and now my windshield is cracked halfway across the entire length. So, I'll need to get that taken care of as well. (Yesterday was NOT a fun day, by any means.)

So, what does this all mean for the reactions?
Hopefully, not too much.
Superman II has been recorded and will be posted in the morning before we hit the road.
What If...? 1x7, Game of Thrones 1x1, Sex Education 4x7, and Agents of SHIELD 5x2 have already been edited and scheduled for their regular publication days/times. (The schedule is available here if you need a refresher.)
Since we'll be on the road for most of this week, I had to record everything last weekend. I didn't want to start a new Classic Who story only to go 10-12 days before being able to record the next two parts. It would be too easy to forget what had already happened in the story. So, I'll be recording the first four parts of The Green Death next week and will put them all out on Thursday.
The Amazing Spider-Man will also be recorded next week after I return and will be released later in the week. Everything else should go out on their regular days.
Also, the start of Broadchurch will need to be pushed back a couple of weeks. So, we'll start it on either the first or second Saturday in September.
Other than that, I'm hoping the schedule won't be impacted too much by all this.

The main thing I see possibly causing an issue is the root canal. It's currently scheduled for the 12th and they've assured me it should be a quick recovery. But, there is a chance it will get moved up to next week at the last minute if they have a cancellation. So, if that happens or the recovery takes longer than anticipated, I may need to move things around a little. If that turns out to be the case, I'll put up another post.

This does mean I won't be able to do a Zoom call this month. It also means there will be fewer YouTube reactions posted during this time. Since Patreon takes priority over YouTube, I've paused AOS reactions over there until the beginning of September. Doctor Who reactions will continue, but they likely won't be on their regularly scheduled day and I may have to skip a week or two.
Whew ... I think that's about it.

It's wild and exhausting. lol But, should all hopefully be worth it in the long run. *fingers crossed*
