WF Waystations
Added 2022-04-04 15:49:57 +0000 UTCHuge spacestations relying on WF tech. Often kilometres long, with crew complements in the thousands. Usually positioned at strategic points throughout the solar system. The Waystations became incredibly important during the war.
The first three to be built, Alpha, Beta and Gamma, were situated around the Moon, near Mercury, and close to the orbit of Jupiter, respectively. The fourth, notably larger, The Acteaon, built in 2362, was placed in a Mars orbit and became an important hub for traffic between the inner and outer solar system.
The fourth, and largest, The Erebus, was built after the War Instruction set arrived. Initially designed as a civilian station, it was upgraded during construction to included heavy offensive and defensive capabilities.
