While he certainly sees the appeal of Agape's body, he sees sex with her as more of a chore. In fact it's one of the things she loves about Vernon; while others may try their very best to over perform in order please the her, Vernon simply does what he has to. Agape finds some kind of peace in how she's treated by Vernon, like she's just another person and not some all mighty being that people are afraid to disappoint.
