hello members of the aunty donna club,
this has been a wild fucking week, the show has done so much better than any of us expected it to - and that is no small part because of our fans. and as our official fans, we wanted to jump in here and say a big big big thankyou. netflix's algorithms are a strange and mysterious thing, but we have no doubt that the success that series is having is in no small part because you all jumped on and watched the show promptly, quickly and repeatedly. you're support on socials and telling your friends means that more and more people are discovering our goofy little shit. so thankyou so much for that, it really means the world.
on top of that, if you've been a member of the club for a few years (back when it was just a normal patreon), the reason we had time to develop and write pitches for the US over the last few years was because we were doing aunty donna full time. This is because of you support. This show would not have happened without you. we mean that.
we know that not all fans can afford to pay money for exclusives poddies and videos records, so we'll be doing thankyou's on the other socials, and if you have any mates that have supported us in other ways (like telling mates and sharing vids, or maybe they were a member for a time) then please let them know we're v v grateful.

Something that genuinely comes along only once in a generation. Individually, you're incredible, but together, somehow you're just epic. Watching your podcasts, it's amazing, watching your acting skills, improv skills, and the rediculous quality of the art that you produce. Even when you're half asleep, you're still miles ahead of all the rest of us. It might feel like normal life to you, but you three surpassed the rest of us little comic actors a very long time ago. I'm not surprised at all by how this has gone. You might be, but I'm not. You're the real thing. And it's a privilege for us to be along for the ride.
