The Prize (Diaper Dimension Fan Fiction)
Added 2022-06-13 21:38:44 +0000 UTCTwo dozen conversations filled the party room. The furniture was a mismatch of designs and sizes, and yet the careful selection of tablecloths and decor made the room look the picture of elegance. Cutlery scraped on plates, and the occasional laugh of a woman who had had too much to drink rang out.
The sun had set outside, and the little ones had been put to bed. Well, most of them.
At a table to the side of the room, a group of five women watched the hostess flitter from table to table.
“She’s such a social butterfly,” Alicia Hawkins said, with a mixture of sneer and envy, “See how she touches everybody’s arm and asks if they have everything they need?”
“I’m just amazed how many topics she seems to be an expert in,” Bree said, “She seems to have good advice for everybody.”
They all leaned forward to listen to the hostess’s conversation.
“- Oh yes,” Regina Harcourt said with a serious look down at the latest seated guest, “When my daughter wanted to leave for college, I had to make sure it was McMasters. I can definitely talk to the dean about enrolling your children, if you’d like.”
“That would be wonderful…”
“And-” Chloe said back at the side table, holding up a fork with a speared piece of broccoli soaked in a creamy mushroom sauce, “She’s an excellent cook.”
They all nodded in agreement, and spent a moment adding to the sounds of cutlery scraping on plates around the room.
When they looked up, they realized that Regina Harcourt was standing over their table and beaming down at them. She had a long neck, and a tall, lithe build, though that wasn’t the reason that she seemed so large to them.
“And how are my little interdimensional guests doing? I trust that it didn’t come as too much of a surprise?”
“Well,” Dina Baker chuckled a bit nervously, “It was strange to win a competition I never entered, but I wasn’t going to turn down a chance to get to go through the dimensional portals.”
They all nodded in agreement.
“Good answer. And I trust you all kept it secret as asked? We wouldn’t want to make others jealous of what is meant to be a joyous event.”
They all nodded again, and Regina’s smile widened.
“Excellent. I read all of your profiles, and knew you all had it in you to do as you’re told.”
They shuffled awkwardly in their silk dresses and satin gowns. It had been a bit shocking how easily the other dimension had hacked and downloaded all of the world’s databases. While governments and big businesses had promised that the weaknesses were patched, nobody knew exactly what information the other dimension had on them.
“Now,” Regina said, clapping her hands together, “Does anybody need to go potty?”
The guests shook their heads, and uttered various versions of No in unison. It was a bit of a surprising word choice - potty - and it might have almost seemed simply an eccentric manner of speaking, except for their glaring size difference. Perhaps it just slipped out while she was looking down at them…
Regina Harcourt looked along the table, and her gaze settled on the guest at the end.
“Eliza,” she said, with a knowing smile, “You didn’t say no.”
Eliza blinked, and perked up. “Oh sorry I don’t need-”
“Now now, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about dear,” Regina Harcourt said, already swooping around the table and helping Eliza out of her chair, “You all came straight here from the portal. Come on, I’ll show you the way.”
“Well, I-” Eliza began, then her face flushed as Regina took her hand and held it high in the air above Eliza’s head, and then led her away from the table while beaming down at her.
The others watched them go. It was hard not to shake the impression of what they looked like, given that Regina Harcourt was three times Eliza’s size, with curves which made Eliza look somewhat underdeveloped.
The hostess and guest moved out of sight, and the others returned to their meals.
“The big peas are so strange,” Dina said with wide eyes, holding up a pea on her fork which was several times too large.
The other nodded.
Alicia poked at her food. “I suppose the roast pumpkins might actually just be pumpkin cubes.”
“Either way,” Bree said, stuffing a forkful into her mouth, “Iths Dewithious.”
They all nodded.
They ate and talked and gawked for another half hour, taking in the sights of the residents of the other dimension. The locals came in a variety of sizes, though were all much bigger. Even the shortest person there, an apparent maid, was still twice their height.
Bree was trying to tilt her huge glass of water towards her mouth, when suddenly she realized that she’d misjudged, and the front of her dress was soaked.
“Oh!” the others cried out, scooting their chairs away from her on either side. Though the damage wasn’t so bad, falling mostly on her dress, and the chair would be okay.
“Oh I don’t know what-”
“Oh Bree,” a kindly voice said.
They turned around to see Regina Harcourt leaning down over them with a bemused smile on her face.
“Cups are a bit hard huh,” she chuckled, helping Bree out of the chair.
The distraught guest nodded, looking like she was trying to keep a stiff lip, and she could only allow herself to be dabbed with napkins.
“Come on,” Regina said, taking Bree’s hand, “Let’s get you changed into something in your size.”
“Where is Eliza?” Dina called out.
“Oh,” Regina said, spinning back around with another of her expressive smiles, “She is having a little nap, and must have been so excited about tonight that she didn’t sleep a wink beforehand. If any of you get sleepy then I have spare places for you.”
With that Regina gave them another smile, then turned and led the soaked Bree away. Once again they struck a particularly suggestive silhouette due to their size difference.
“I have some pretty things of my daughter’s which you can wear...” they heard Regina saying, until the hostess and guest disappeared around the corner.
The trio returned to their meals, though Dina frowned and toyed with her food, biting her lip.
They were more careful with their cups now. Each took measured sips, and yet each time they dropped the water level of their glasses even slightly a large waiter came by and topped them back up.
Alicia was stuffing a load of food into her mouth, when she realized that she’d overdone it, and glanced around to check that nobody saw her with her cheeks puffed out and her mouth half open. Though she paused when she discovered that a giant man and wife couple were smiling at her from across the room, and the woman was pointing while saying something to the woman beside her.
Alicia winced, and gave a nervous little wave, then carefully swallowed some of the food so that she could begin chewing down the rest. The giants laughed, then began an eager conversation among themselves and ignored her. One of them made a swooping motion with her hand, almost like an aeroplane motion for feeding a baby, then held her hand out to her side to indicate the height of something. The other nodded eagerly, and Alicia used the chance to reach up to her lips and fish out one of the cubes of potat-
“Oh Alicia!”
Alicia blinked, and looked up to see Regina Harcourt with an arched eyebrow and her hands on her hips.
“Oh honey,” she chuckled, leaning down and folding a napkin, “Did you put too much in your mouth?”
“Ith okayth.”
“It’s not polite to speak with your mouth full honey. Here, spit it out.”
With that she held the napkin in front of Alicia’s face, and tapped her back so that she spat it out.
Regina instantly folded the napkin over and began wiping Alicia’s face.
“Oh Alicia. That was too much in your mouth at once now wasn’t it? And now it’s all over your fingers and dribbled on your dress.”
‘I-” Alicia began, before being interrupted as Regina wiped her face.
Dina watched them from the side.
“Where are Eliza and Bree?”
Regina raised her eyebrows, like she’d quite forgotten. “Oh Eliza is still having her little nap, and Bree was a bit embarrassed about her new outfit reminding everybody that she ruined her dress, so I decided that she could have a nap too. Now come along Alicia. Let’s get you off to the bathroom to wash your hands, and we better see if you need to go.”
Alicia was blinking as she was helped out of the chair, then her hand was taken and she was led into the giantess’s house.
“We’ll get you some safer food,” Regina was saying to her, “And make sure to keep the dribbles and drops off of your pretty clothes too…”
Chloe and Dina watched them go, then were distracted as the waiters emerged to serve dessert.
The pair watched the staff begin serving across the room, until almost half an hour later when they reached their table.
One of the waiters - a tall, older man in a stiff shirt - looked down his nose at them. “Now are you two allowed to eat these desserts?”
“Well,” Chloe said with a shrug, “We ate everything else, so it seems everything here is fine for us.”
“Hrm,” the man said, narrowing his eyes. Then he turned and clapped his hands.
One of the huge waitresses - who might have even still been a teen - rushed over.
“Paige. Please see that Miss…”
“Chloe.”
“Paige. Please take Ms Chloe here to see Mrs Harcourt, and ask if she is allowed these treats.”
“Oh…” Chloe said, turning red, “I’m sure I can. I mean nothing else has been an issue.”
The corner of the man’s mouth crept up. “Girls are always sure that they can eat sweets. But Mrs Harcourt will decide.”
The waitress shrugged, then moved around the table to pull back the blushing Chloe’s chair. She reached to take her hand.
“Oh I don’t think I need-”
“Mrs Harcourt wouldn’t want anything to happen to you. I don’t know how well you can walk.”
“Well I’ve been fine since coming through the port-”
The teen sighed, then took Chloe’s hand.
“Come on,” she said, “I have other work to do.”
With that she began walking Chloe off, and the blushing guest had no choice but to skip to keep up.
“You better not have been lying about having permission to eat those sweets…”
They moved out of earshot, and Dina realized that she was alone.
She sat primly, watching the scene of the giants talking loudly over desert. Some mentioned business ventures. Others mentioned property renovations. A few mentioned their children.
“Oh little Abbie is doing wonderfully. It’s past her bedtime so she’s home with the nanny now, of course. But we went to the circus today and she was able to get her face painted, and she got to ride on the donkeys with some of the other girls and boys. Then we saw that new sunshine-poppets movie. I find it mind-numbing but the kids apparently love it, and afterwards some of the staff were dressed up as the characters so she got to sit on their laps for some photos, and they gave her a whole bag of activities to take home.”
“Are the poppets the one with the purple and yellow and red -”
“Yeah. And they just wave their arms around and sing and dance, but her pediatrician said it’s good for her. And we paid good money for the tickets so we made sure that she was paying attention, and asked her questions about it after. We like to always discuss what we watched after, to make sure that she’s learning the right lessons and isn’t scared, though I think the only part which would give her nightmares in that one is the big smiling moon.”
“Yeah. That thing’s creepy when you think about it. Imagine a big moon always watching you at night.”
“We make sure that she knows the only thing watching her is Mommy and Daddy on the nursery cam. Here, I can show you. One moment. Here.”
“Aw! She’s adorable! And such thick diapers!”
“She was in bed early since we were coming here. After her big day today I don’t want the nanny waking her up for a change either.“
“Oh I want one.”
“You should. You think you’re not going to be able to do it, and then find new strength you didn’t know you had.”
“Oh I’m not ready for that. But I wouldn’t mind visiting to meet her, and maybe getting some practice.”
“It’s a date! Are you free tomorrow? She has ballet and then swim class in the morning, and a playdate at two, but we could do lunch? She can be fussy to feed, so it’s good practice.”
“I’m afraid not. I have to take some important documents to the uptown office.”
“Such a pity. Perhaps another time. We’ll be taking her with us on vacation, of course, but maybe when we get back in a few months?”
Dina glanced down along the empty table. It felt like it had been two hours since Eliza had gone ‘potty’, as Regina Harcourt had put it. Then Bree had spilled her drink, and Alicia had apparently dribbled on her clothes, and Chloe had needed to ‘get permission’ to eat sweets…
Dina bit her lip, and crossed her legs beneath the table as she felt her foot bouncing.
Reaching down beside her chair, she collected her handbag. Watching the room until nobody was looking her way, she slipped down from the seat.
Trying to be stealthy, she walked quickly into the nearby hall, where the others had all gone, and began walking down between wide, white walls. There was artwork hanging in intervals along the way, above her reach. One of them was quite abstract, but seemed to represent a woman breastfeeding her daughter, cuddled in her arms. Yet when Dina really looked, the smaller daughter’s build almost looked like an…
“Good evening Dina.”
Dina froze. Regina Harcourt stood at the end of the hall, looking so very warm and caring as she beamed down at her guest.
“Uh, hi. I was just looking for the bathroom.”
“You must be busting to go by now huh?”
Dina fidgeted from foot to foot. Truth be told she did need to go. The giant meals and eventful atmosphere had made it easy to misjudge how much she should eat and drink.
“Sure…”
Regina Harcourt flashed one of those confident, beaming smiles. “I’ll show you where the bathroom is.”
Regina began walking, and Dina followed. Then the hostess used her long legs to easily circle around and guide Dina with a hand hovering behind her back.
Dina licked her lips, and began reaching into her purse. As they approached some huge doors which were their apparent destination, she pulled out a small remote, which had only a single button and an antenna on the top. She held it up high to show the giantess, with her thumb on the button.
“Do you know what this is?”
Regina’s smile widened.
“No idea. Would you like to show me?”
“I’ve been assured that it is a communicator which can work through dimensions. One press of this button and everything I’ve heard tonight gets transmitted back.”
“And why would you need that dear? What would you need to transmit?”
“Well…” Dina began, starting to falter. “I’m not like the other girls. I have… a theory…”
“Oh. Do you think I’m like one of those big, mean Mommies in those stories you like?”
Dina’s cheeks turned red. “I uh…”
Regina put her hands safely out of reach between her thighs, then leaned forward.
“I researched each girl I invited, wanting each to be special in some way. You didn’t think I didn’t know about those stories did you?
Dina’s blush grew, and she found herself tongue-tied.
“So,” Regina said in a knowing tone, “Did you tell anybody your little theory?”
“Of course not,” Dina snapped, “It’s embarrassing even explaining why I even think that.”
“Of course,” Regina said with raised eyebrows and a big smile. “But then what if the remote doesn’t work? It would sound like you were almost asking for it, and made only a token resistance.”
“That’s not true!” Dina replied, “It’s just… embarrassing to tell anybody why I suspected it.”
“And now if you transmit it, and there’s nothing wrong here, people on the other side will know that you have some embarrassing fantasies and start to wonder huh?”
“Well,” Dina said, starting to frown, “I mean… They might not… but…”
“Do you want to give me the remote?” Regina said, holding out her hand with a big smile. “And I’ll make sure it’s all okay?”
“Well…”
“I think you do hon,” Regina said gently, starting to unwrap Dina’s fingers from the controller.
Dina stood frozen. A moment later, and the giantess had the remote in her hand. She smiled, stood back up, and crushed the remote with ease.
“We definitely don’t want to play with things like that huh. Oh dear, it looks like you were a bit scared.”
Dina blinked, and glanced down as she noticed a warm trickle on her leg and a dark patch on her dress.
“I think,” Regina said, smiling,“We know if you’re really up to the potty. All the other girls got quite flustered about trying to use it too.”
“The… potty?” Dina asked, unsure.
“Of course!” Regina said, beaming, as she began to push open a nearby door. “Now this is my daughter’s old room, and we’ll get you something clean in her size in here. And since the late night seems to be a bit much for you, you can sit out the rest of the party. Lucky I have enough places in here for you all to have a nap.”
The giantess pushed open the door, revealing soft carpet, pink wallpaper, and enormous, white furniture. There was a giant dollhouse on the left of the room, and a stack of toys opposite on the right.
Dina glanced around looking for beds, but only saw five enormous, towering, white structures against the far wall. Each had bars rising up from above Dina’s head and ending almost at Regina Harcourt’ eyeline.
“Good girls,” Regina said to the giant structures, “It seems the last talk really got through to you. Now Dina is a bit overtired and needs a nap too, so you all rest quietly while I get her ready.”
---
Patricia York beckoned the waitress over. She was a short girl, at six foot tall, and it seemed odd to give her the responsibility of handling trays of alcoholic drinks. Though she was still twice the size of those little guests who Regina Harcourt had been hosting earlier in the evening.
Patricia took a glass, and dismissed the girl with a wave.
It was a fine white wine, of course. Regina was always careful in her selection of anything.
To the side of the room, Reginald played the piano, and Zenobia sang along in her deep baritone voice. On the other end of the room, Athena told the story of her climb of Mount Everest.
Regina flowed through the crowd, touching arms, smiling at guests, giving advice, and sharing stories.
A maid approached, and Regina leaned over for the woman to whisper something in her ear, then she smiled.
“Everybody,” she said, holding up her hands, “I have an announcement.”
The room quieted.
“As we all well know,” Regina said with a big smile, and then she pulled a drape away from a placard revealing the logo of the nearby ivy league university. “Education is our future. I am announcing a donation of one million dollars to McMasters University, where my daughter is currently attending.”
There was a round of applause. Some of the guests nodded as they decided that it was an acceptably large sum to be worthy of the habaloo.
“Also,” Regina said, smiling, “I have thought about how it was motherhood which brought out this charitable goodness in me. For that reason, I have decided to adopt.”
A few knowing smiles crept up among the crowd.
Regina gestured to the side, and a maid pulled the double doors open.
A nanny strode in, holding the hand of a girl, who led in another by the hand, and then another, until five had entered in a line, flanked by another busty nanny.
They each wore pink terry sleepers with their names written across the chests in white stitching. Pacifiers half-obscured their faces, and they each waddled around the puff of their obvious diapers.
“Oh it looks like somebody is a bit overtired,” somebody chuckled.
“Everybody,” Regina said, beaming, “These are my new daughters. Alli, Bebe, Ellie, Cici, and Didi. They’re each the sweetest little thing who won me over while I was looking through the potential adoption profiles, and I can’t wait to introduce you all to them in the coming months. Would anybody like to say hello?”
Several guests beamed and descended on the girls, kneeling and crouching and patting heads.
“Oh hello sweetie!”
“I like your little hair bow.”
“Does somebody need a change? I think she does!”
“Oh don’t cry sweetie! I know it’s late for you but you’ll get to go back to bed soon.”
“I heard that you were a bit bratty earlier. Sometimes angels need spankings to help them to be good huh?”
“Aren’t you lucky that this is your home now?”
“I bet you’re going to love being adopted here. There’s a nice playground just down the road.”
“I adopted my daughter from your dimension a few years ago, before the portals were done. Perhaps you’ll meet her.”
Regina beamed, looking down with pride at her five new daughters.
“I’ve also decided - why should I have all the fun? Tonight I am running a raffle for seven adoptions from our new source. Each winner will get a fully stocked nursery from BabyLuv, a playground from Little Climbers, and free enrolment at Little Sunshines daycare which have hundreds of campuses across the country.”
A murmur of excitement spread throughout the crowd.
“Of course, these girls need to get to bed. But I was just so excited to adopt that I couldn’t even wait a day to announce it. Goodnight sweeties, Mommy will be in to kiss you soon. And remember, no more tantrums, nobody likes a sore winner.”
---
Patricia York strode down Main Street like a woman on a mission. On her left she had Vivi in a firm handhold, and on her right she held the diaper bag which dangled from her shoulder in place.
Vivi’s diapers were crinkling up a storm as they raced past cafes and benches where people were enjoying the sunshine, and several people glanced down with a smile.
“Regina!” Patricia called out.
Up ahead, Regina Harcourt turned around. She was holding the hands of one of her girls on each side, Alli and Didi, and they were both dressed in matching red dresses with white lace. They each had a cute waddle as they raced in a circle to keep up with their Mommy’s turn, and the wind toyed with their hemlines to flash their thick diapers.
“Patricia,” Regina smiled.

“Sorry,” Patricia laughed, slowing herself and Vivi down. “I saw you two blocks away. I haven’t seen you since your vacation, and I just wanted to say thank you.”
“Oh pish posh,” Regina said with a graceful wave, “It was my pleasure. How is little Vivi?”
Patricia beamed, and crouched down to pull out Vivi’s pacifier. “Well?” she asked, “What do you say to the nice lady?”
Vivi took only a moment.
“I am good Mrs Harcourt. We’re going toys shopping.”
“Such a lucky girl.”
“She is,” Patricia beamed. “And she enjoys her Little Climbers playground, don’t you Vivi?”
“Yes Mommy.”
“She was on it all morning.”
“That must look very cute. I’m sure you have some pictures?”
“Absolutely. Perhaps we could do lunch, and you could show me your vacation? There’s a new restaurant on First which I would like to treat you to.”
“That sounds wonderful. Do they have a play area?”
“Yes. And plenty of highchairs.”
Regina smiled. “Then it’s a date. I would love to catch up, and perhaps you would like to see the next round of adoptions I have arranged. The girls will need their afternoon nap, and I of course have a spare crib.”
