Pairing Poll

(reuploading this because I didn't set it properly the first time, sorry)

Hi guys, hope you're all doing good. I've just been checking the previous poll, and it seems pretty clear to me which story is going to win. Unless a lot of people suddenly start changing their minds, then the winner will be the Harry Potter as Batman's son option.

There's 2 days left on the poll but it seems pretty obvious who is going to win so I thought I'd make this poll to decide the pairing. If in the unlikely event that I'm wrong and suddenly another story wins then I'll say sorry for wasting your time with this poll and post another poll depending on which story wins.

Either way, for the HP as Batman's son story, there are some pairing options which I will list below and give you my personal thoughts about them to help you decide.

Supergirl: A fun character to write as she's quite powerful and much like Harry, she has seen some horrible stuff in her life. If I write her I'd probably start with her joining a team with Harry and just start off having horrible control of her powers and just gradually get better at it while bonding with Harry.

Powergirl: This character is basically an older supergirl to the best of my knowledge, not really my first pick as a pairing since most people are only really interested in her upper half from what I've seen on fanfic and I'm not the kind of guy to write smut stuff or lemons. If I wrote her, I'd probably start with her being a couple years older than Harry so there's not a massive age difference.

Batgirl (Barbara Gordon): I think she's a solid choice because not only is she valuable in and out of costume, she's also a redhead and Harry is originally a Potter so that obviously makes sense. She'd be fun to write, I'd probably have her start being batgirl around the same time as Harry and then slowly grow alongside him.

Artemis/Tigress (From Young Justice): This is a character that I think would compliment Harry well as not only is she strong and skilled, she's also without powers and will have to be smart about dealing with stronger opponents, just like any member of the Batfamily.

Chesire (From Young Justice): This is another character that I think could be interesting to write about, as not only is she a skilled fighter, but it'd be interesting to write an assassin growing into a hero, just like Harry. Only problem I can see is trying to make that transition seem natural and not just her going to the good side to bag the main character.

Miss Martian: I think she's a good choice for a pairing as she's quite powerful and quite kind (ignoring the whole mind crap she did in season 2, I hated that btw) and I can see her and Harry getting along and it'd be fun to write her crushing on Harry and having Kid-flash just completely believe that he still has a chance with her.

Thea Queen (Oliver Queen's sister): She has much the same qualities as Artemis and it'd be kind of fun to write Green Arrow as a disapproving older brother. I kind of envision her and Harry ending up in the same school or just meeting at a party and slowly getting to know each other.

Orphan (Cassandra): My knowledge of this character is pretty much limited to being the child of Lady Shiva and brought up as a living weapon who initially can't talk and eventually becomes batgirl. Something which I think is plenty to work with when the main character in question is also a living weapon.

Starfire: I like this pairing in large part due to watching Teen Titans (Classic, not Teen titans go) and I think it's a fun thing to write. The alien who isn't used to Earth culture and the unstable child assassin turned hero is certainly interesting. I would like to write her and Harry's first meeting being a fight just like with the classic show and then have her slowly fall for him.

Wonder Woman: This is a pairing I really would like to write as not only do I believe that Wonder Woman would compliment Harry very well, it just also leads to so many fun scenes with Batman, the whole Batfamily, the justice league and the rest of Harry's team wondering how exactly he bagged Wonder Woman. The age difference isn't too big of a thing for me as she's thousands of years old, it's only minorly worse than her dating Batman or Superman which nobody seems to have problems with. Of course I'd have to write her later in the story when Harry is older, if the story is a single pairing then I'd probably have Harry go on a few casual dates with some other random people before getting with her.

Zatanna: I think a lot of people like this pairing simply because magic user and magic user go well together. I'm not particularly knowledgable about this character besides what I've seen from her in Young Justice season one. I think she'd be fun to write as she doesn't appear to me to be an overpowered magic user who would make everyone else useless (at least not when she's young) and it'd be fun to write a reality shifter in the story, even if writing spells backwards is probably going to get old quick.

Killer Frost: I believe there are multiple versions of killer frost, I'm basing mine (not copying completely) on the one from the Flash show, but I'll make her Harry's age. The base idea is that she's a young child genius that got experimented on and developed a split personality that comes with ice powers. I kind of like the idea of polite, genius Caitilin Snow chilling out and then the next minute Killer Frost appears and is ready to kill someone. A bit like Bruce Banner and the Hulk.

That's pretty much the pairing options, vote for whichever one you want. Below I will also list a single or multi option to decide if this fic will be a single pairing or multi-pairing. If this becomes a multi-pairing then it'll be with two to three characters, depending on which ones get the highest votes, for example if the top three are Artemis, then Batgirl and then Powergirl then I might only put Artemis and Batgirl in if i feel i can't adequately add powergirl in there or write all three if I feel like I can. As for the characters themselves, the poll is multiple choice so you can vote for more than one character, just please remember to also vote for single or multi as well.
