OP 4

Black Widow -

Scene 1 -

'Well, there are certainly worse ways to spend my days.' Natasha Romanoff, AKA Black Widow, thought as she found herself thrown off the helicarrier.

The last few days had been quite hectic for her. She had been pulled off her nearly completed mission by Coulson because somehow, Clint had been compromised. Learning that it was by an Asgardian named Loki certainly didn't help matters. Fury sent her to the latest third-world country where Bruce Banner was hiding. Convincing the Hulk, AKA the most destructivetive force in the world, to help wasn't an easy task, but she managed. Then she and Captain America went to Germany to grab the villain. During the mission, they managed to pick up Iron Man as well, along with Thor and the new guy, Harry.

He evidently didn't have a codename yet.

Harry was on Shield's watchlist for a while, and yet, not much was known about him. He showed up in America without any documents, and nobody was sure where he lived until he suddenly had a large mansion, and a bunch of info on him suddenly popped up on their systems. He was an enhanced, that much they were certain of. The watch he possessed apparently allowed him the ability to transform into different forms.

Director Fury was very interested in it. He wanted to know if the watch was simply a gimmick to hide Harry's true powers or if it truly was as advertised. and if it was, then obviously Fury wanted it. But Harry was quite stingy with the details about it. When Harry arrived, he was ina state of the art armour along with weapons she'd never seen. When asked, he claimed he got it from Grey Matter. So now Shield was issuing a worldwide manhunt to find whoever that person was.

It turned out that Loki had been planning to be captured straight from the start; he used his sceptre to mess with the Avengers' heads before initiating an explosion. One event led to the other, and now she was flying off the helicarrier with Harry who was in a bipedal tiger form that he referred to as 'Rath'.

"Oh! So you're using gravity now?!" Rath demanded angrily as they plummeted down. "Well, let me tell you something, gravity!" He didn't get a chance to speak to gravity as she reached forwards and slammed her hand down on the symbol of his watch, suddenly he changed forms.

"Upgrade!" He shouted in his new form. He had a white torso while the rest of his body was black with green stripes that resembled circuitry. His round head had a single green circle, which apparently was his eye. He grabbed her left wrist and suddenly melted into her widow's bite gauntlet. "Aim at hellicarrier!" His voice ordered, sounding like his usual one but slightly more robotic. She did as instructed and aimed up, her grappling hook shot out and up the ship. Its previously limited range has been forgotten as an apparently endless amount shot out and grabbed onto the hellicarrier, stopping her plummet and nearly ripping out her shoulder at the same time. "Going up!" He announced.

The grappling line pulled them fast up into the air until they reached the hellicarrier, the line detached, and she found herself shot up into the air. Upgrade poured out of her gauntlet and caught her before spinning in the air just as his watch started beeping red. He landed on his feet and slid several feet back before a red flash turned him back into human, leaving him crouched to the ground while holding her bridal style.

"Not bad," She gasped, looking up at him. "You're getting the hang of this superhero business."

"Thanks," Harry grinned at her. "Pretty cool landing, yeah?" She smiled amusedly at him as she got out of his arms and stood up.

"Eight out of ten," She told him straight faced before walking off.

"What?!"

Scene 2 -

"So, how are you enjoying the party?" She asked Harry, looping an arm through his.

Tony had decided to throw a party in celebration of finally defeating Hydra; he had invited all of the Avengers, along with various other people. Steve and Thor were currently talking with some war veterans, Bruce was having a chat with a couple of scientists, while Clint was raiding the bar along with Rhodey. She noticed that Harry, on the other hand, kept drifting between people, always making sure to keep his watch as covered as possible.

"It's fine," He said, giving her a nod as she guided him across the room. "Yourself?" He asked as they started walking.

"Not bad," She shrugged. "Though I think parties are more enjoyable when you actually talk with people,"

"I...I'm not a social person," He defended weakly. "People are...complicated."

"That's not inaccurate," She softly agreed. She knew that he wasn't exactly a people person; it probably didn't help that he could change his biology with the ease of changing shirts. Oftentimes, she wondered exactly who he felt about the human race, given that he liked to spend as much time as possible as one of his aliens. "But perhaps you should still try to talk with someone."

"I'm talking with you, aren't I?" He shot back.

"You're going to have to try and talk with other people as well," She told him just before a blonde woman slid up to him and pressed against him while placing a hand on his chest.

"Hey," She purred. "You're the alien guy, right?"

"Not exactly how I'd label it, but yeah," Harry replied.

"Say, why don't you and I -"

"Perhaps next time," Natasha cut in firmly. "We have to go meet the other guests, excuse us." She said before pulling Harry away and taking him far from the blonde.

"So, what happened to talking with other people?" Harry asked, earning a flat look from Natasha.

Scene 3 -

"So, this is your boyfriend's house?" Yelena asked as she and Natasha arrived outside Harry's mansion.

"One of them," She confirmed before pressing the doorbell. "We can stay here for a bit."

"He won't mind?" Yelena asked, slightly surprised.

"My sister and I showing up unannounced at his door is short fish compared to half the crap we deal with," She said just before the door opened to reveal a robot in a butler uniform.

"Madam," The robot said before turning to Yelena.

"Guest, code 2108." Natasha said at once.

"Understood," The robot said before removing aside and allowing them inside.

"2108," Yelena repeated, giving Natasha a questioning look.

"It's to stop him from getting rid of you." She told her as they walked.

"He can do that?" She blinked.

"If he can't then he'll call one of the other ones who can," She said just as they arrived in the kitchen, where they saw Harry at the kitchen counter, drinking some juice.

"Hey, Nat and guest," He waved at them. "Also, who is guest?"

"Meet my sister, Yelena," Natasha said with a sigh. "It's been a long day,"

"I can see that," He said, noticing the bags under her eyes. "Why don't you guys come and tell me about it?" He waved them to follow, clicking his tongue as he left the kitchen counter.

"Umm..." Yelena froze as she saw a small white bear with various blue crystals popping out of its body come out from the country and follow after Harry. "...You see this, yes?" She asked Natasha. "I did not hit my head or get drugged again? You see the bear, yes?"

"What bear?" Natasha asked innocently, earning an unamused look from Yelena. "Alright, it's a Hydra experiment." She explained. "He rescued it and now it follows after him like a puppy."

"My future brother-in-law is so cool," Yelelna whispered to herself.
