OP 13

Maria Hill -

Scene 1 -

"Sir," Maria Hill said as she all but ran to keep in pace with Director Fury, who was walking faster than usual through the helicarrier. "Sir, what's going on?" She asked.

"We have a visitor," Fury said gruffly without looking back at her or stopping.

"A visitor?" Maria repeated. "But there have been no jet landings in the last hour, nor are we expecting any."

"He didn't come on a jet," Fury said, sounding almost amused under his annoyed tone.

"Didn't come on a..." She trailed off as she tried to register what he had just said. "Sir, we are thousands of feet in the air on our most advanced helicarrier yet. How on Earth would anyone..."

"Hill," Fury cut her off. "The world is ever changing. We now have flying suits of armour, super soldiers and Norse gods. Lord help us if the Greek ones turn out to be real. Last thing I need is Zeus's perverted ass coming down here to impregnate everyone and everything."

"Sir," She said, cutting him off before he could continue. "Who exactly is up there?"

"Shifter," Was Fury's answer.

Maria blinked hard, knowing exactly what he meant. The last few months, they had discovered that there was an enhanced individual out there with the ability to turn into different beings. Not much was known about him; he had been nicknamed 'Shifter' by those in charge of finding him. Some of the reports they had heard about him were hard to believe, even with all the weirdness that they had heard over the last few years. Apparently, he could turn into a diamond creature, some sort of orange dog and a little red gremlin.

Once they reached the topdeck of the hellicarrier, she struggled not to make a face as she finally got to see the man in person. Black hair and civilian clothing, but utterly eyecatching still due to the fact that he was hovering twenty feet in the air on a green hoverboard.

"Holy Samuel L Jackson," Harry whispered to himself as he descended down and landed in front of Fury. "You must be Director Fury?" Harry guessed before looking over at Maria. "Whoa, Robin Sparkles?" He blurted out, staring at the brown-haired woman in a tight blue body suit who looked exactly like the actress for Robin from the show 'How I Met Your Mother'.

"Could you stop staring at my deputy?" Fury asked in an annoyed voice.

"Probably," Harry shrugged, still staring at her.

Scene 2 -

"Wow," Harry said as he stood outside on the balcony of Stark Tower. Tony had set up a party inside for all the Avengers and basically every important person in the country. He had quickly taken the oppurtunity to excuse himslef from it after the third gold digger in an hour tried to get him to let her wear his omnitrix. Honestly, it was a device that was as valuable as multiple solar systems, did they honestly think they could press themselves aganist him and he'd let them have it?

"I don't know if you noticed, but the party is the other way," A voice said just before Maria stopped next to him, wearing a black jacket over a stunning red dress and a white necklace. She had done up her hair and for the first time in ever he saw her with makeup.

"I noticed," Harry shrugged. "But last I checked, I'm an anti-social loser. What about you? How come you're not at the party?"

"I wanted to check on my favourite anti-social loser," She shrugged. "Last I heard, a few of Tony's bimbos were discussing if they could get you to transform in the bedroom."

"Wait, to which alien?" Harry blinked. She opened her mouth to answer, but he cut her off. "Actually, I don't want to know. Still, it's not really my cup of tea. I've had three girls try to get me to depart with my Omnitrix, and five guys tried to convince me to join the military and work ONLY for the military. Plus, there was that one guy who asked me if I wanted to spend the night with his wife."

"You're kidding?" She looked torn between amusement and disbelief.

"It's true," Harry assured her. "His wife was right there. She looked kind of put out when I said no."

"Hmm, well, I just got hit on by dudes like a normal person." She shrugged.

"They've got good taste," He said, giving her a look over before looking over the balcony. "Hey, want to get out of here?" He offered, pulling out a disk which he dropped to the floor, it transformed instantly into his hoverboard.

"Are you kidding?" She asked wiht an amused smile as he got on top of it.

"Nope," He said before the hoverboard lifted him up into the air. With a grin, he quickly scooped her up and shot off into the air.

"Oh, this is probably breaking so many rules!" She moaned, but the smile on her face was unusually wide.

Scene 3:

"You wanted to see me?" Harry asked as he walked into Maria's office, finding her sitting at her desk, dressed in her typical blue uniform.

"Yes," She said, getting up from her chair and walking around the desk before stopping right in front of him. "I've got Falcon and Punisher leading an assault on a Hydra base five days from now, and Hulk's not available, so I was wondering if you were okay providing some alien muscle for them."

"Those are my best muscles," He said thoughtfully before nodding. "Sure, I'm in."

"Great, also tomorrow I need you to assist Walters and Murdock, they found something that could possibly help us, but they both insisted that they need Swampfire for some reason. You in?"

"I'm in." Harry nodded once more. "Anything else I can help you with?"

"Well, I think you've been working pretty hard these days, as have I, so I'm ordering necessary time for recreational activities," She purred, sitting back on her desk, crossing her legs and slightly pulling her uniform's zipper down, exposing her collarbone before gesturing for him to come closer. "I don't have a bedroom here, so my office will have to do."

"Definitely in,"

A.N: Hi guys, sorry for not updating in a while. I've had to do more shifts at work, alongside with dealing with a few other headaches, meaning I've had less time to write. Terribly sorry, I'll try to upload more in the upcoming days to make up for it. Just posted this because I literally have to go to work in an hour from now and thought this was something quick I could give you.
