Chapter 89 -

'Last night was quite cathartic,' Harry admitted to Venom as they mentally communicated while eating lunch at the Gryffindor table.

'Somewhat,' Venom agreed. 'We should kill Dumbledore,' He suggested with a growl.

'We might end up doing so,' Harry replied darkly. The fact that Snape had done so much, had hurt so many people and got away with it, burned Harry inside. Snape got off scot free simply because he was valuable to Dumbledore; it didn't matter to the man that Snape had killed so many people. Sure, Snape hadn't directly killed most of them, but he was involved in some way. If he didn't do the deed, then he at least helped others do it. Heck, even the Longbottom family's danger status had increased simply because they were one of the potential families in he prophecy that Snape had leaked. Harry couldn't help but glance in the direction of poor Neville. He was such a nice boy with a heart of gold, yet he was an orphan who lived with his strict grandmother. Why? Because of the same man who bullies him in class.

Dumbledore could say what he wanted in Snape's defence, but the fact was that Snape was easily smart enough to work out that somebody was going to get hurt once he told his master about the prophecy, and he still went through with it. It was only when he learnt that the woman he wanted was in danger that he took action; the only reason he even went to Dumbledore was likely because he didn't trust Voldemort to keep her alive. It was one thing to believe a sob story and give a man a chance at redemption, but when Dumbledore was actively ignoring everything the man did after that, that was an entirely different matter. The so-called 'reformed' Death Eater had no problems with bullying the child of the woman he had supposedly loved; the man had proven on many, many occasions that his hatred for James Potter far outweighed his love of Harry's mother. Not to mention when he bullied other students like poor Neville or even first years, who hadn't even done anything to him, nor had their parents, as far as Harry knew, which was not a good excuse either way.

Still, they had given Dumbledore a chance yesterday to give up his traitorous little pet, but Dumbledore had refused. That was fine with them; Snape was dead either way. If Dumbledore didn't want to send the man to Azkaban to pay for his crime, then they'd make sure he faced real justice, one way or another.

'We could do as we did with Umbridge,' Venom said thoughtfully. 'It's tempting, but I think Snape deserves a more personal touch.'

'He deserves worse than what we can give him.' Harry stated matter-of-factly as he finished eating. He was ready to get up when he heard a voice call for him.

"Mr Potter," Professor McGonagall said as she stopped next to him. "There is a guest in the headmaster's office who has requested your presence," she explained.

"A guest?" Harry repeated. "Who is calling for me?" He couldn't help but ask.

"Our new Minister of Magic,"

(.)

Harry's face looked as normal as ever as he walked to the headmaster's office with Professor McGonagall a step or two ahead of him. Inside his head was another story as he and Venom discussed their upcoming meeting.

'Do you think we've been found out?' Harry couldn't help but wonder.

'Possible, but not likely, since McGonagall said that the Minister requested this meeting, not Dumbledore.' Venom replied.

'Hmm, Amelia Bones,' Harry said with a mental frown.

After Voldemort's reveal, Fudge had been booted out at record speed. It was well known to everyone in the magical world that Fudge had denied Voldemort's return for a long time, and the Quibbler had also made it clear that he hadn't even investigated Harry's claims. Fudge was out; some say he quit himself to reduce his embarrassment, while others claimed that he was forced out. One rumour stated that he had left the country in shame, while another claimed that he had been killed by an angry mob.

Harry really hoped the last one was true.

The new Minister of Magic had been voted in shortly after, and the position went to Amelia Bones, Tonks's old boss, leaving her other boss, Rufus Scrimgeour, as the new head of the DMLE. The logic behind choosing her made sense; she was a decorated auror and had been in charge of every auror in the country for years. If there was anyone suited to fight a war, then it would be her, on paper at least. But Harry didn't have the same confidence in her. Leading a war against someone like Voldemort required toughness, bravery and the ability to do what was needed. She had stood by while Tonks got fired and hadn't made any noticeable effort to force an investigation to happen.

Needless to say, Harry didn't really have high hopes for this meeting.

"Kitkat," Professor McGonagall said as they neared the entrance.

"Does he ever make the password anything that isn't edible?" Harry couldn't help but wonder out loud as the gargoyle moved back, allowing a set of stairs to appear.

"Not in my experience," Professor McGonagall said with a long-suffering sigh as the two began making their way up the stairs. "Well, there was this one time in the year of 1974, but that was mostly due to a misunderstanding when he met the man who was the French Minister of Magic at the time," she raised her hand to stop Harry from speaking. "Don't ask," She said to him as they arrived at the top. She knocked on the door, Dumbledore's voice called them in, and the pair entered the office.

The office was as it usually was, tons of books and lots of weird-looking stuff that only Dumbledore knew the purpose of...probably. Dumbledore was sitting behind his desk, as expected. Madam Bones and Rufus Scrimgeour stood to the left side of Dumbledore. One slightly unexpected addition to this meeting was Snape, Dumbledore's pet Death Eater stood behind him. He sneered at Harry upon seeing him. Harry had to resist the urge to let Venom out right now and kill the bastard.

"I was summoned?" Harry asked lightly as he looked around the room, which included three of the most politically powerful individuals in the country.

"Mr Potter, a pleasure to see you again," Minister Bones greeted him.

"I'm sure," Harry resisted the urge to snort. "Now, I've been led to believe that you wanted to meet with me."

"That is true," Minister Bones confirmed. "Now that I am Minister of Magic, I no longer have to worry about answering to anyone else. Without Fudge restraining me, I have the full capability to act as I wish. Well...within the law at least. I'd like it if you would agree to come into the ministry today, I'd like to have you finally, fully and properly questioned about what happened the night that Voldemort returned."

"Wow, another one who can say his name without flinching," Harry said, sounding mildly impressed. "That's a rare breed, these days."

"So, do you agree?" Scrimgeour asked, a slightly hopeful tone in his voice.

"First, answer my question, will there or will there not be a crap ton of reporters when I get there?" Harry asked knowingly. "Why not send the aurors over here? This seems to be less about questioning me and more like a publicity stunt. Would look very good for you two if I were seen working with you, right?"

"Typical," Snape snorted. "Do you think you can last a day without making things more difficult for everyone else?"

"I don't know, do you think you can?" Harry shot back. "How many school board meetings are about kicking you out of the school?" He asked, earning a glare from Snape.

"Mr Potter," Minister Bones spoke up before Snape could say more. "If you want the meeting to take place in private, then that is fine; we truly want to work with you on this matter."

"Yeah, well, I don't trust politicians, so forgive me if I don't believe you straight away," Harry said with a small scoff. "I'll believe it when I see it. Send one of your aurors and I'll give a statement. If that's all..." He trailed off. He was about to turn and leave when he found out that 'no', that was not all.

"Just a moment, if you would," Dumbledore requested. "Fawkes," he called. A moment later, the beautiful phoenix flew into the room and landed on his perch.

Fawkes looked exactly how Harry had remembered him, crimson feathers on his body and a golden tail as long as a peacock's. He was roughly the size of an adult swan, but Harry remembered that he was very light and incredibly strong for his size. His claws and beak were gleaming gold, and his eyes were as black as Venom. There was something incredibly unique about being in the presence of a phoenix; it was indescribable, the type of thing that nobody could really explain properly, you couldn't understand it until you actually felt it. You could summarise it, of course. It'd be easy to say you feel good, you feel happy, you feel like the world is just a tad bit lighter than it was a second ago. But that didn't do the feeling justice.

"Hey, Fawkes," Harry smiled. He hadn't seen the phoenix since his second year. Fawkes, by nature, was a bit of a free spirit, and despite common belief, he didn't spend all of his days in the headmaster's office. Fawkes turned his eyes towards Harry, his gaze seemed to look through Harry. Whenever Harry met his eyes, he usually felt like a child who had just been told that he had passed a test. But now, as Fawkes stared at him, the feeling wasn't the same. He had done the test, passed it before, but now the results were different. He hadn't passed, but he hadn't failed.

Inconclusive.

That was what Fawkes seemed to say. He let out a small trill. He sent Harry a look that seemed apologetic if anything. He flapped his wings and lifted into the air before disappearing in a bright flash.

"What was that about?" Minister Bones asked, looking questioningly at Dumbledore.

"It is...As I had feared," Dumbledore seemed to age slightly, his shoulders slumped as he looked down, looking more like he was in a funeral than in his own office. He stood up slowly, walking around his desk and stopping just short of Minister Bones. "Did you bring what I had asked for?" He asked with a sigh.

"I did," She frowned, pulling out a metal ball of some sort. "But you've not yet pointed out why you wanted it," she reminded him with a pointed look.

"All will be explained soon," He assured her calmly as he took the ball from her, regaining some of his previous 'Dumbledore-ness', looking once more like the calm, old headmaster who always seemed to know everything.

"Albus," Professor McGonagall spoke up with a frown. "What is that?" She asked, pointing to the object in Dumbledore's hand.

"It is a rather new invention from the auror department, an improvement on an existing one, actually. Created about a year ago, soon to be standard issue, I believe," He glanced questioningly at Minister Bones, who gave him a hesitant nod. "Well, what better time to try it out?" He asked. Without looking, he tossed the ball in Harry's direction. The ball burst open as it neared him. Harry barely had time to blink before he felt a weight on his wrists; he looked down and saw a pair of handcuffs.

"What the hell?!" Harry demanded as he took several steps back, suddenly hit with a feeling of weakness, as if he had just lost a limb. "What is this?!"

"Albus!" Gaped Professor McGonagall, pulling out her wand. Bones and Scrimgeour looked stunned but had pulled out their wands, Snape looked too surprised to smile, and Dumbledore just stared at Harry.

"The latest in magical impression cuffs," Dumbledore explained with a sigh.

"I couldn't give two shits! Get them off!" Harry shouted.

"I'm afraid I cannot do that, Harry, you're too much of a danger to be allowed to run freely," Dumbledore told him before turning to Minister Bones. "Amelia, I would like you to please arrest Mr Potter for multiple accounts of trespassing, breaking and entering, assault and murder."

"Are you shitting me?!" Harry gaped at him, as he backed up into a desk that held some of Dumbledore's odd contraptions.. "Professor!" He turned to Professor McGonagall. "Can you please talk some sense into him and get this off of me?!"

"Really, Albus, this has gone far enough!" Professor McGongall said, regaining her voice. "Mr Potter - Harry - would never do anything like this."

"You better have a good explanation, Dumbledore," Amelia said sternly. "Perhaps you can explain just why exactly you believe I should be arresting Mr Potter."

"Are you for real?!" Harry demanded angrily. "Get these things off of me, now!"

"I must say, this pains me too, Minerva," Dumbledore told his ever-faithful deputy before turning his gaze to Harry. "Truly, it does. I must admit, Harry, you'd done a good job. Far better than what one would expect from your age."

"What the hell are you on about?!" Shouted Harry. "Get these cuffs off me!"

"I must admit, I always expected this was how you'd turn out," Snape taunted, having finally recovered enough to be his usual self. "Never imagined that I'd have the pleasure of seeing it." Harry glared at him, ready to hurl his own insult when Dumbledore turned to Snape and silenced him with a glare.

"I'd be quiet, Severus," Dumbledore said, sounding as furious as anyone had ever heard him, so much so that even Snape could tell that now was not the moment to push him. "I am not in the mood." He said before turning back to Harry, his whole demeanour softening. "As I said, Harry, you were good. But I'm experienced. I've noticed things, even if I've denied them for so long. Though I am curious, just how did you become 'Venom?', Mr Potter?" He asked so casually that Harry took a moment to process what he heard. By the time he did, he noticed that everyone in the room was staring at him.

'Crap,' Venom summed up his thoughts.

"Me?" Harry blinked. "Venom? You've been having too many lemon drops, I think. Why would you think that I'm Venom?"

"It does seem rather far-fetched," Scrimgeour said with a frown. "Harry Potter of all people, as Venom? The crazy, carnivorous creature that kills and eats people? It hardly seems likely."

"Many things don't," Dumbledore said easily.

"Dumbledore, it's well-known that Harry Potter was born to Lily and James Potter, two perfectly ordinary human beings." Minister Bones pointed out. "If we gloss over the unfortunate pureblood bigotry, then we can say that he is a son of two humans."

"True, but I don't believe that Harry was always 'Venom', it started a few years ago. Am I correct, Harry?" Dumbledore guessed. "Just before your third year started, we had the first-ever sighting of Venom, the first time reported by a criminal, the second time was during Harry's third year and was reported by Auror Tonks, both in Diagon Alley. I can't say anything about the second time, but during the first, there were very few people I could say for certain were in the area at the time. Madam Malkins, for example, and Tom the barkeeper, for another. You, Harry, were another. You stayed there around that time."

"That proves Jack all!" Glared Harry. "There were tons of people there! It's Diagon Alley!"

"Agreed, I too believed it was a coincidence," Dumbledore hummed. "But that's hardly it, is it, Mr Potter? The same year, you came back to school, far different from the previous year. You were bigger, and your personality had changed noticeably as well. At first, I suspected it was just you growing up, but things seemed to get more concerning. During the last few years, your strength has grown at an alarming rate; you went from an average student to the top of the class. Then there were the attacks on the Dursleys. You didn't even seem to care that they died."

"So that's your logic?!" Harry laughed mockingly. "I don't break down crying after the guys who abused me for years end up dead?! If you thought I killed them, then you should have informed law enforcement then and there! But you didn't!" Harry added victoriously. "Meaning, you either don't have evidence or you don't believe I did it."

"I considered the idea," Dumbledore admitted. "I believed I was wrong. That the boy I knew, he couldn't do such a thing, he wouldn't do such a thing. But there was always a doubt lingering in the back of my mind. Now, I know why. It's because you did kill them, didn't you, Harry?"

"You have no evidence!" Harry repeated furiously. "Get these damn cuffs off me!"

"The Dursleys were attacked by some sort of animal," Dumbledore said softly. "The remains left behind are remarkably similar to those left from some of Venom's victims. Which leads me to wonder, why would Venom go to the Dursleys? The first of his victims, perhaps, was a case of vigilantism or self-defence. When he saved Auror Tonks, perhaps he was trying to be a hero, or perhaps he was interested in Tonks, the same woman that you befriended shortly before, Harry. But why on Earth would he attack the Dursleys? A group of seemingly inconsequential muggles. He didn't even finish the job by tracking your cousin, Dudley. Meaning, Vernon and Petunia were either very unlucky or perhaps the targets. At first, I considered that perhaps a Death Eater or a sympathiser was Venom and that they attacked your family in the hopes of getting to you. But you were behind important wards, Harry, wards that protected yourself and the Dursleys from outside attacks, meaning that it could only have been an insider or someone who had managed to bypass the wards somehow. Once more, I trusted and believed in you so deeply that I suspected that the wards had failed before I suspected you."

"Yeah, well, you're getting old," Harry pointed out, his voice light despite the near-permanent glare on his face. "Surprised you have bladder control at your age, never mind making competent wards." His comment seemed only to get a small laugh from Dumbledore.

"There's that wit again. If this situation were not so serious, then I might actually enjoy it." Dumbledore confessed. "Now, where was I? Ah, yes, I still hadn't connected the dots fully, yet. But more signs came, you were present at the World Cup, just as Venom was. During the Triwizard Tournament, you performed far beyond what anybody could have expected. It takes enormous magical power and potential to throw around a dragon as you did. Once more, I put it as you simply being an extraordinary wizard. But then, you survived Voldemort of all people, without any significant injury. Despite what you may think, Harry, that is not an easy feat, for even a wizard of my calibre. Not to mention, I know it was you who was responsible for throwing that tree through my office." He added, giving Harry a knowing look.

"What tree?" Harry asked innocently.

"Hmm, do you also deny your skill in the mind arts?" Dumbledore raised an eyebrow. "To not only resist two full-grown Veela in your fourth year, while also claiming to resist a legilimency probe in your third, tells that you surpassed my own skill in the mind arts when I was seventeen. Even ignoring that, Venom was seen by Professor Snape to be riding a creature that fit the description of the same beast that attacked Draco Malfoy twice now. The first attack happened the same day that he had confronted you. Today, I checked once and for all when I had you meet Fawkes. Fawkes, who so readily came to your defence in your second year, doesn't know what to think about you now. That much is obvious to me. So many coincidences, Mr Potter, do you wish to confess now or should I list more?" He asked him genuinely. "And believe me, I do have more."

Harry glared at him for a moment before his gaze shifted and he looked around. Professor McGongall looked like she was trying to work out if she was having a nightmare. Seeing such a look on one of his most respected and valued teachers pained him greatly. Snape looked like he didn't know what to think, his brain working overtime as he stared between Harry and Dumbledore. Meanwhile, two of the most powerful members of the government were frowning at him.

'The act is over.' Venom growled. A second later, Harry laughed deeply, surprising most of the people in the room.

"You're good, Dumbledore, really good." Complimented Harry with a big smile. "I suppose, if you know, there's not much point in pretending anymore, is there?" Harry said as he casually spread his arms, snapping the chain connecting the handcuffs. Everyone took a step back and raised their wands at him, except for McGonagall, who looked like she was close to fainting. "It was tiresome, keeping up the act. Pretending to be what you wanted us to be. Now, we can talk freely."

"We?" Repeated Bones, her voice barely above a whisper as her mind recalled Tonks talking to her about Venom's insistence on referring to himself as 'we'.

"It is we," Venom's voice came out of Harry's mouth, shocking everyone.

"What are you?" Dumbledore asked, his wand still pointing at Harry.

"We are Venom." They said together. Harry casually turned around and knocked one of Dumbledore's devices off the table, letting it roll across the floor.

"What is your goal?" Scrimegeour spoke up first.

"Simple, the end of a war and the destruction of all Death Eaters," Harry answered before staring at Snape. "Every. Last. One." He growled.

"You can run, but you can't hide, Snape," Venom growled from within Harry, his voice echoing through the office. "We'll get you, soon enough. Dread it..."

"Run from it," Harry shrugged. "Destiny arrives all the same. We will get you, Snape, you can only hide behind Dumbledore's skirt for so long."

"Why?" Professor McGongall choked, a tear dripping down her eye. "Why would you do this?"

"We have no choice, Professor," Venom's voice answered.

"Exactly," Agreed Harry. "So long as Voldemort lives, he won't let us exist in peace. We had to take care of the problem, and Dumbledore obviously isn't cutting it or the war would have been over before I was born."

"Harry," Dumbledore began.

"This world needs change, our parents didn't die for this piece of shit to stay as it is," Harry sighed, knocking another one of Dumbledore's devices to the floor. "A government so corrupt that it's a joke, a world full of people who can get by with nothing more than their family names and gold. A world where they can torture, kill and hurt people as much as they can without consequences." Harry laughed loudly. "It's funny, they've been ruining this world before our parents were old enough to conceive me. Yet, we're the ones getting arrested."

"You've committed just as many crimes as they did," Dumbledore countered.

"Don't compare us to them!" Snapped Harry angrily as he tossed one of Dumbledore's devices across the room, shattering it against a wall. "They did it because they could! Because they thought themselves superior to their fellow witches and wizards! Because they didn't like those who were different! They took a chance to be able to do whatever they wanted, and half of them got away with it because you weren't man enough to take care of them properly, Dumbledore. You even have your own pet Death Eater, right there!" He pointed to Snape. "Responsible for the deaths of so many, including my parents and my UNBORN SISTER!"

"What...what are you talking about?" Professor McGonagall asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Our mother was going to have another baby," Harry revealed, shocking the poor woman even more. "But she never got to. Because Snape overheard a fucking prophecy and directed Voldemort right to them."

"I didn't...I...I would never hurt Lily," Snape spoke up, his face a twisted mixture of sorrow and hate.

"But you did!" Harry pointed an accusing finger at him. "You called her a mudblood in school! You joined a group that wanted her DEAD! You told Voldemort about the prophecy that had him focus on her!"

"You act like you're a good person."

"You're not!"

"You were happy to let whoever the prophecy was about to die!" Snarled Venom. "You didn't care."

"Until our mother was involved!" Spat Harry. "You didn't care that her husband and her son would die."

"You don't love her, you never did!"

"You're obsessed, jealous that my father got her and you didn't," Harry growled. "You live your pitiful life knowing that you can never have her! That she rejected you! That my father beat you! WE beat you! You'd never be able to get her, even if she were alive. Because you're a pathetic waste of space. You are everything she hates! You are everything we hate!" Harry and Venom finished together.

"Harry, this isn't you!" Dumbledore cut in quickly. "I know you, you're a good boy, a kind boy. You'd never say these things, you'd never do these things. This 'Venom', this creature inside of you, is corrupting you. Turning you into something you're not."

"You think you know us?" Harry laughed bitterly. "Oh, yeah, how's that? Is it because we meet a few times a year after we deal with whatever the latest cock-up you and this school have to offer? You think because you occasionally stand in front of us and offer vague answers, riddles and platitudes that you know us? You don't know us! All we ever wanted was to live our lives in peace! To go to school and learn magic! To make friends! To have a family! To help people! Yet everyone always thinks that I'm the problem!"

"You think I'm the problem?" Venom's voice echoed throughout the office, sending shivers down everyone's spine.

"But I'm not anymore! We're the solution!" Harry said with a devilish grin. "We're going to heal the world. Fix it so our fellow witches and wizards no longer have to deal with people like Voldemort and you! We'll create a world where our family can live free."

"Mr Potter," Minister Bones cut in, her voice as serious as ever. "I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to come in with me." She wasn't sure what response she was expecting, but it definitely wasn't more laughter.

"You're funny," Harry told her in an amused voice before turning to Snape. "You think this is the end? You think you're safe? You're not. We didn't know who you were when we came to this world. You didn't know a thing about us, but decided that we were exactly like the man who died for us before we were old enough to speak. Malfoy struts around the castle, bullying whoever he wants and showing off his wealth, yet you never said anything to him. No matter what we did, no matter how we acted, you'd never see us as anything more than an enemy. You killed our parents, and then you had the gall to try to bully us? Try to intimidate and scare us? You hadn't taken enough from us? You ruined our lives, but still wanted to make us suffer more? Not to mention the other students in your care. Poor Neville practically shakes in front of your scumbag self, another child of your victims. You could have fixed up. You could have changed. You could have buried your grudge with our father."

"But you didn't!"

"You want us to be enemies so bad, Snape?" Harry spread his arms out as if to welcome him. "So be it. Enemies for life. Spoiler alert, yours is now going to be a lot shorter." He grinned widely as he took a few more steps to his left, every wand and pair of eyes following him.

"Harry, stop this." Dumbledore's wand tip glowed red. "Now, before it gets worse. We can help you."

"You see, we will find you, Snape." Harry continued, his eyes firmly fixed on Snape, whose face was going through a cycle of different emotions. "We will kill you. Slowly, painfully, intimately. We'll return all the suffering you've put upon us, tenfold. And once we're done with you and Voldemort." Harry raised his hand and pointed it right at Dumbledore. "We're coming for you."

A stunning spell shot out from Scrimgeour's wand, clearly an attempt to take Harry off guard. Harry ducked the spell before turning to face the wall behind him. Without pause, he rushed forward and smashed through it and into the open air. He barely had a moment to take in the view of the Hogwarts grounds, the sun reflecting off the lake and the beautiful, lush, green grass. He breathed the sight in before gravity started pulling him down. He shifted so that he was diving headfirst. A moment later, Venom's goo spread all over his body, coating and enveloping him until he was in his sleek Venom form. A tentacle shot out from his left hand, and he swung away. At the peak of his swing, he let go of the tentacle and floated in the air for a few seconds. Venom shifted himself to create wing-suit-like gliders from his armpit to his hips.

He glided to Gryffindor Tower, smashing headfirst through the window of his room. Fortunately, the others weren't there. Venom quickly grabbed his trunk, with a wave of his hand, all of their stuff quickly flew into the trunk. Venom looked towards Hedwig, who was still on her perch.

"Leaving, now!" That was all he said; it was sufficient for Hedwig, who nodded her head. Dumbledore apparated into their room a moment later, blatantly ignoring the 'no apparating in Hogwarts' rule, apparently that one only applied to everyone else, like most things.

The headmaster didn't get much of a chance to do anything as a red tentacle instantly shot out of Hedwig's chest and slashed the ceiling above Dumbledore, dropping down a large portion of dust and the ceiling onto him. Dumbledore had managed to defend the attack with a quickly placed shield, one flick of his wrist and the debris was gone, and the dust cleared in time for Dumbledore to vanish the bed that was sent at him. His wand glowed brightly, and another spell incantation was on the tips of his lips. He didn't get to use it as he could now see that Venom and Hedwig were both gone. He stood there, his wand hand dropping to the side, emotions so erratic that he could barely hold onto the stick in his hands, nor could he even move. A great deal of effort was placed in simply making sure he could stay standing.

"What have I allowed to be unleashed?" He brokenly whispered to himself, tears stinging against his red face. "What have I done?"

A.N: Hey guys, hope you liked the chapter. I decided to end it on a somewhat dramatic note, but I do have an alternative ending which I'm going to post below. It's a bit more comedic. Have a read and let me know which you prefer. Anyway, thanks for reading and feel free to leave a review.

(.)

Alternate ending:

"What have I allowed to be unleashed?" Dumbledore whispered as he stood in the damaged Gryffindor common room. "What have I done?"

"Finally," A gleeful voice said as steps were heard coming up the stairs. "Alone time!" The door opened, and a grinning Seamus stepped in with a Playwizard magazine in his hands. He promptly froze upon seeing his dorm room damaged, Harry's bed missing, and the headmaster in his room. "I...you know what...I'm not going to ask." Seamus sighed as he closed the door behind him and walked to the bathroom.

"Mr Finnegen, I..."

"I don't care," Seamus said as he opened the bathroom door. "Just go...go...do your thing. I'll talk to you if you want, if you're still here in ten minutes." He said before taking the magazine and himself into the door and closing it firmly behind him.

"A...kind of an odd place to read a magazine, but okay," Dumbledore frowned.

I didnt expect this to be escalate

As much as I liked this chapter, I can't help but feel a little disappointed that we didn’t get to see the aftermath of the last chapter. I was kinda looking forward to seeing the Order confront Dumbledore and Snape.

CHAOSxUNL3ASHED

To be fair Harry and Venom both shoulda seen this coming, neither was the most subtle and shoulda figured the old man would catch. Almost reminded me of scene from Civil War when Cap escaped from Shield headquarters.

TheRonin

This was EPIC. Also I’ m glad it didn’t finish with a comedic scene, would have ruined the feel of the moment. It ended on a perfect note.
