OP chapter 16

Miss Martian -

Scene 1 -

"This is kind of hard to believe," Harry whispered to himself as he sat in his seat.

It seemed like only months ago he was in his room, wondering what exactly he'd be doing with his life. Now? Now, he was in the Marvel universe, in one of the most technologically advanced jets in the world, flying through the air with Shield Agents and assorted heroes. In the jet with him was Frank Castle, AKA the Punisher, along with him was Bucky Barnes, The Winter Soldier and completing the lineup was War Machine and Black Widow.

"Team 2," A hologram of Captain America stood between them. "Team 1 and three are in position. Commence the plan as soon as you get close enough. Good luck." He said before the hologram cut off.

"We're about twenty-five seconds from the drop point," War Machine said before reaching out and pressing a button; the ramp of the jet started opening. Howling winds rushed into the jet just before Harry stood up and rolled his neck. "You sure you don't want a parachute?" War Machine asked him.

"I'll be fine," Harry assured him before walking closer to the open ramp. "Okay, I'm going to go now. Remember to share your toys and have fun." He said before leaping out of the jet and dropping down towards the target base.

A large base covered in fences and mini-turrets and every other defence available, even when its terrain prevented most forms of ambushing. Included in the defences were their large sentinels near the front. Yes, Sentinels, as in the massive purple robots from the comics. Each is tall enough to step on him with ease. As he got closer, he touched the dial on his Omnitrix, a few turns, and he slapped it down.

In a flash of green light, he transformed into Upgrade. Once he got close enough, he landed on the middle Sentinel. In a few seconds, he had merged completely with it. Transforming it from purple to black with green stripes. If the robot could grin, it would have. The upgraded Sentinel grabbed the one on his left and lifted it up and slamming it straight into the next, slamming them both to the ground. Aiming its arm cannon at the two downed obots, it unleashed a powerful blast that destroyed both of them.

"Jeez," He heard Frank Castle say over the comms. "If he can do that shit, then why the hell are we here?"

"He's getting the priority target; it's our job to get the rest."

"Still, can't help but feel unneeded," Rhodey said before Sentinel-Upgrade smashed into the base where the target was located.

He pulled out a small container that was about seven feet tall, and he placed it on the ground gently before flowing from the sentinel and into the container. The sentinel dropped uselessly to the ground behind him as he had made sure to dismantle it. Once he opened the container, he disengaged from it and turned back into his human form in time to see what was in it, or rather, who was in it. He blinked hard and absently pressed the button to open the container, allowing the occupant to drop into his arms.

"This day is weird," He thought to himself as he stared at the girl in his arms. Her outfit consisted of a short-sleeved white top with a red X on it, along with a blue skirt, a knee-length collared cape, gloves, and ankle boots. She had red, shoulder-length hair and was quite beautiful, truth be told, even with her green skin. Yes, green skin. Her eyelids opened, revealing a pair of amber orbs. "Um...hi," He said awkwardly.

'Hello,' She spoke, her mouth hadn't moved, but he had heard it easily enough in his head. 'I am M'gann M'orzz,'

Scene 2 -

"Hadn't I made my point clearly earlier?" Harry couldn't help but ask as he glared at the man opposite him.

Harry, being a fan of the Hulk since he was a little, had an ingrained dislike of General Ross. That was especially true after he had actually met Bruce, a relatively nice guy who hadn't wanted to harm anyone and ended up being chased all across the world. Harry's dislike of Ross had increased greatly when he discovered that Ross had his men capture M'gann (AKA Megan) using supervillains and had locked her away without so much of a trial. Shield only found out about her existence when Ross had failed to try and discreetly get her back from Hydra, who had stolen her from Ross in the first place. Which was why Harry was not happy to be standing in front of Ross and a small group of his men. Ross looked towards Fury, who was standing on the side. Fury simply shrugged, showing that he was not getting involved in this.

"She is the property of the US Government," Ross stated simply, staring at M'gann, who was standing next to Harry.

"Excuse me," Megan said with an appropriately offended look. "I am nobody's property. Especially one single section of an entire world in a different dimension from mine. I didn't ask to be here."

"Yet you still are," Ross countered. "And the last thing I need is the chinks or Russians getting their hands on you and turning you against the country that I've sworn to protect."

"She's an Avenger, in case you haven't noticed," Harry cut in. "We primarily work with the U.S."

"But not exclusively," Ross replied.

"Yeah, because its top general is a massive dick."

Scene 3 -

"So, how's Pepper doing these days?" Harry asked as he walked with Tony through the Avengers tower.

"She's doing alright," Tony replied with a shrug. "Managing Stark Industries while I go around blasting bad guys. I don't envy her; it's a lot of work. Anyway, how are you and MEgan doing?"

"We're alright, I suppose," Harry replied. "I'm taking her out on a date tomorrow."

"Must be fun dating a shape-shifter," Tony smirked at him. "Does she change up in the bedroom?"

"Tony," Harry said in an offended voice just as they stopped outside of his bedroom. "You know I'd never make her do that,"

"Boring," Tony rolled his eyes before walking off.

Harry smirked at his back before entering his room and finding Megan waiting for him, sitting on his bed.

"Finally, you're here." She smiled up at him. "So, I checked our schedule, we've got She-Hulk tomorrow and Wanda the day after. But for now," She said before shifting into an exact copy of Black Widow. "Hey," She said with Natasha's trademark smirk.

"Best girlfriend ever,"
