Percy Jackson in Harry Potter (don't be dirty-minded) test chapter.

Plot: Percy Jackson gets banished from his world and is reborn as a child in the wizarding world. Pairing undecided.

Scene 1 -

"Life is weird," Percy thought out loud as he stood outside of a large, red train.

It seemed like only yesterday he was in his crappy apartment with his mother before his father showed up, announced that he was Posiedon and that Percy had to leave this world or Zeus would come down and kill him personally, as your uncles do. And now, in this new world, Percy was apparently a wizard. He was pretty sure that being a wizard was a downgrade from a demigod, but he happened to be both, so at least he wasn't boring.

Once on the train, Percy pulled his trunk with him up the train until he found a mostly empty compartment, consisting of just one boy. Shrugging his shoulders, Percy knocked on the door and opened it.

"Hi," Percy said, greeting the boy. "Do you mind if I sit here?" He asked politely.

"Not at all," The boy said quickly, gesturing him inside.

"Thanks," Percy said as he came in. He stowed his trunk away before sitting opposite the boy and taking a good look at him.

At first glance, the pair of them could be mistaken for twins. They both had messy hair, green eyes and similar facial features. But that was where the similarities ended. The boy in front of him was almost pale, while Percy's skin was tanned. Percy's own eyes were 'sea-green' as he had been told, while the other boys were a bright emerald green. Percy's clothes were nothing to brag about, but they looked better on him than the boy's who was wearing clothes that were a size or two too big for him. His face was also skinny, like he hadn't eaten in a while.

"I'm Percy, by the way," Percy said, extending a hand. "Percy Jackson." The boy gave him a small smile before shaking his hand.

"I'm Harry, Harry Potter," The boy greeted. "Nice to meet you."

"Harry Potter?" Percy repeated as he let go of him. "Aren't you famous or something?"

"Something," Harry said with a small frown.

"Neat," Percy shrugged. "Anyway, what house are you hoping for? I'm hoping for Ravenclaw, personally."

"Oh, are you really smart?"

"Nope, I just like the colour."

Scene 2 -

"This is not school-appropriate!" Percy yelled as he and Harry ran down the Chamber of Secrets with a giant basilisk chasing after them.

"I noticed!" Harry yelled back, tossing a spell over his shoulder. "We need a plan."

"Don't die!"

"Besides that one!"

"I got something," Percy admitted. "If you can distract him for a minute."

"I'll give you twenty seconds!"

"Twenty-five!"

"Deal," Harry said before the two started running in opposite directions, with Harry throwing spells at the basilisk while doing his best not to stare it in the eyes.

"I hope this works," Percy said as he watched the distracted basilisk chase after Harry. Taking in a deep breath, Percy raised his hands. Immediately, he felt all the water around the chamber rise up and into the air. He breathed out and shot all the water towards the basilisk. The giant snake, which had previously been preparing to eat an entire Potter whole, was covered in water, which transformed into ice, covering its body until it was stuck from tail to tip as an ice statue. "Oh, look, it worked." He took in another breath, taking a moment to appreciate the silence that came with not having a giant snake trying to eat you. A silence that was promptly broken by one shocked Harry Potter.

"The fuck was that?!"

Scene 3 -

"Jackson," A formal voice interrupted Harry and Percy's board game.

The two had been sitting in the courtyard on one of the school benches, playing a game between them and taking the time to have some fun. They both looked up from their game to see Daphne Greengrass standing in front of them. The girl was in the same year as them, though she was in Slytherin house. She was only a head shorter than Percy, which put her eye level with Harry. She had shoulder-length blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She was undoubtedly one of the smartest and best-looking girls in their year.

"I don't know if you remember, but Professor Snape did assign us together for his latest assignment," She said in a business-like manner. "As much as I would have preferred to do a project by myself, that's no longer on the table. Since we're working together, I'm expecting you to do your share of the work."

"Okay," Percy gave her a nod before turning back to the game and rolling his dice. "Five!" He grinned proudly.

"Bugger," Harry sighed as Percy moved his piece.

"Did you not hear what I just said?" Daphne said in an annoyed tone. "I...what are you even playing?" She frowned, looking at the game in front of them.

"Snakes and ladders," Percy told her. She perked up a little at the word snake.

"I never heard of it." She admitted.

"You want to play the next round?" Percy offered.

"I suppose one game couldn't hurt," She said after a few moments. "But then we're going straight to the library."

(brief time skip)

"Okay, we're done now," Daphne said, patting her legs as she stood up from the bench. "Now, time to go to the library." She said to Percy. It was only them now since Harry had left a short while before.

"Can't," Percy shrugged.

"And why not, Jackson?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Curfew is in ten minutes." He pointed out.

"What?!" She gaped at him before casting a spell to check the time. "But...but there was at least an hour and a half left of curfew!"

"Yeah, an hour and twenty minutes ago," Percy told her. An angry look on her face. "You're cute when you're angry," He told her in his typical blunt fashion.

"Library, tomorrow." She snapped at him before turning around and walking away. Her cheeks had now become red for an entirely different reason.
