OC/HP test chapter

Plot: A boy finds himself reborn in the world of Harry Potter, only Harry Potter hasn't been born yet. Pairing would be voted on if I made this story, but for the purpose of this chapter, I'm going to have Bellatrix be the love interest and just for this chapter I'll have the MC's name be Nathan.

Scene 1 -

"This is unreal," Nathan whispered to himself as he boarded the Hogwarts Express. It seemed like it was only yesterday that he was a nobody in his world, and now he was a wizard in the world of Harry Potter. He had no idea if JK had somehow ended up being a medium for another world or if there were just that many possibilities that she ended up being right, but the world of Harry Potter was real!

Of course, things weren't all that great. Being born in a certain time period, he was used to a lot of things like smartphones, laptops and so on, so it had been hard adjusting when he was reborn a few decades before. Still, it wasn't all bad, as now he no longer had to put up with dabbing or twerking or the next dumbass internet trend. The fact that he was born in the wizarding world just sweetened the deal a lot.

As he made his way into an empty compartment and stowed away his trunk, he reflected on his knowledge of books and movies. He knew that Voldemort was out and about; he probably should do something about that, for his own survival at the very least. Nathan hadn't been born into a pureblood family; he was a muggle-born, a 'mudblood' as the purebloods liked to say in the books. Meaning, he had a target on his back. And that was not acceptable, he didn't get reborn into a new world full of magic just to get taken out by some inbred, racist mother-fucker. No, Sir.

That meant one thing. He'd have to study magic and study hard.

Digging out a book on hexes, he quickly began reading through it, studying with a passion that he never managed to produce in his previous life. Perhaps he just needed the right subject or the right motivation. Magic and the fear of death would do it. He had just finished reading about an odd hex designed to shoot water out of a person's nose when the compartment door opened.

"Excuse me," A voice called. He looked up, and his inner fanboy practically jumped in the air when he saw a smiling red-headed girl with emerald green eyes and a swallow-skinned boy with greasy hair that was sneering at him. "I'm Lily Evans, and this is Severus Snape. Do you mind if we sit here?"

'Best day, ever!' He couldn't help but think.

Scene 2 -

"Thank you so much for your help," Andromeda said gratefully to Nathan as she and Ted stood opposite him, holding hands. The group was meeting up in secret in an abandoned classroom.

"Hey, happy to do anything to keep love alive," Nathan grinned, especially when that love could potentially result in one of his favourite Harry Potter characters of all time, Nymphadora (don't call me that!) Tonks. God, she would be so cute as a baby!

"Still, we really can't thank you enough," Ted said, knowing that Nathan had done so much to help the two of them maintain their relationship in private. After all, there could be disastrous consequences if someone learnt that a daughter of the house of Black was in a relationship with a muggleborn like himself.

SLAM!

Every head in the room turned to the door that had slammed open. Standing in the doorway with a firm expression on her face was none other than Bellatrix Black.

"Sister!" Andromeda gasped, quickly letting go of Ted's hand. "It's not what it looks like! I-" She trailed off as Bellatrix ignored her and walked up to Nathan and poked him hard in the chest.

"Are you dating Evans?" Bellatrix all but demanded.

"What?" Nathan blinked. "No, I-" He found himself cut off as she grabbed him by the back of his head and pulled him into a very forceful kiss. After shoving her tongue down his throat for several seconds, she pulled back and poked him in the chest again.

"You were the one who hung the Lestrange brothers by their underwear from the Astronomy tower, weren't you?" Bellatrix asked knowingly, her eyes locked with his. "You're the one who locked Snape in that broom closet with Malfoy as well, right?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," Nathan said innocently once he recovered.

"Hmm," Bellatrix's smile got even bigger before she kissed him once more. "You and me, this Hogsmead weekend," She said, her voice sounding hungry. "Meet me at nine by the Great Hall, don't be late." She winked at him before stepping back and then looking at Andromeda as if she had only just noticed her. "Oh, hi, Andy," Bellatrix waved cheerfully, looking between Andromeda and Ted. "Oh, you got your own mudblood as well?" Bellatrix asked in a delighted voice, looking between Ted and Andromeda. "If you get bored with him then you can share mine," Bellatrix offered, gesturing to Nathan.

"Hold up," Nathan frowned. "There is a lot to unpack with the statement, but first of all, I'm not the type of guy to be in a relationship where I share my girl."

"Silly," Bellatrix laughed. "You won't share me. I'm all yours. But Andy's mudblood won't be as good as you, so it's only fair if she has a backup option. She is my sister after all."

"No offence taken," Ted said lightly as he - not for the first time - considered if marrying into this family was the best idea.

Scene 3 -

"Absolutely not, I forbid it!" Walburga screeched in a voice loud enough that everyone in the room winced.

"I don't care what you say, he's my mudblood! He's mine!" Bellatrix shouted back.

"There are other names you could call me, you know," Nathan sighed.

"I am not letting some filthy weakling marry into our family!" Walburga yelled.

"Weakling?! I'll show you!" Bellatrix snapped her gaze to Nathan. "Do it."

"Really?"

"Yep!"

"There is nothing this little shit can do." Walburga said smugly, "I-" She let out a scream as she ducked the pair of lazer eyes that shot out from Nathan.

"That took ages to get right, believe me." Nathan grinned.
