Ohh this one is difficult. I have a favorite point PER BOOK, per love interest, so just one? Tough choice. F: easiest one. Farah running to the MC and getting spun around and kissed in the beginning of B4! It had butterflies in my stomach and giddy laughter sneaking out of me for hours. N: the pool table scene. I mean... come on. I didn't know N could get freaky like that. (Tied with this is their combat training scene just after the 'I love you' because... whew.) I still bring this up with my friends because it was wild, and set a standard for hotness. M: honestly, every single small, no words spoken moment with M is this for me. I think them making the MC's tea/coffee or drink of choice in the beginning of B4 solidified that for me. I just love how they and the MC seem to just kind of GET each other (depending on how you play, of course). It's more intimate to me than even their spicy scenes, tbh. A: oh god. Every romantic moment of the A route is agony, LOL. Hard to pick a favorite when most of them involve suffering and each one gives me heartache for the next few days. But I think the current one I've been fixated on is the MC wanting to see them after Li-Sar told them the powers would probably kill them (in the last demo update). A didn't even really get to react to that or anything, but the thought of MC being upset or frightened and wanting to see A, even if they weren't gonna say anything about it, just... it made my chest sore for a while. Still aches, to be honest.

Not necessarily romantic but I also really enjoyed when you go get M’s crystal cleansed you can do the talking for them it made me smile, as someone with social anxiety but also usually the talker for my friends. Then there’s F trying pizza because they want to experience the full range of a pseudo movie date. Maybe the disordered eating issues I have talking but the fact they didn’t even know if they’d like it and still did it was sweet. And god, I ache for everything A does in reactions to MC I’m too much of a sucker for emotionally constipated people. But the thing that’s stuck with me is probably the carnival photo. The way you described them reaching out and holding MC was just ough. Theirs just hit perfectly imo. Especially more so when I got on the patreon and found the writing on them keeping the photo close.

The second is M, but not with the MC--it's with A and actually made it seem like M realized what they feel. The scene was retconned (or M's understanding was, which sucks because "I'm afraid to tell MC how I feel" would've made an awesome path for M-mancers with A-bff), but it remains my favorite scene, along with the above: "𝘈𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘥," 𝘈𝘥𝘢𝘮 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴, 𝘢 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯. 2025-02-20 18:04:50 +0000 UTCF: I do LOVE the running and jumping into MCs arms in the B4 demo, it's perfect for my detective and their relationship. Also then MC hurts them with solar magic and they have absolutely no concern for themselves and get annoyed by the rest of the team worrying over them because they just want to make sure MC is okay. IMO that made Fs version of that scene the best out of all of them. N: I'll never get over how scared they are in the first trapper fight in B3 when they force us to hide. I love overprotectiveness as a toxic trait and boy do they fulfill that. Also the pool table scene in B3 🥴 M: Tough pick between their combat scene in B3 (I think about Mason with his hair up every single day, also the choice to say you didn't know you'd started and he stumbles and goes "Yeah well we had. We have." His weird shitty attitude because of his confused feelings then switching gears to one of the most tender moments with him... oh it's gets me every time) and their final scene in B3 "Can I have tonight?" Both scenes make me swoon HARD A: Their B3 kiss... I was genuinely, I swear to God, on my knees punching the floor when I read it the first time. But I do also love their post Li-Sar scene in the B4 demo "Whatever this is, you have me," WHEW. Although I bet at least one or two of these will be immediately overshadowed by the B4 masquerade ball scene, I am bouncing with excitement to read them!!!

Well…basically all F moments 😅 Oh and pool table scene with N or all rooftop scenes with M, or M helping Detective with shower in B3. There is just too many to choose from!

The scene is a reflective moment inbetween the hectic events that occur in the book and really demonstrate how important the MC has become to Nat. The MC also gets to confess their love in this scene and makes the great Suavewell speechless which is always enjoyable.

2025-02-20 15:31:24 +0000 UTCThe one that stocks out the most to me is the first time with M in book 2, when the detective doesn't even have the time to finish their sentence before being kissed, it's not quite romantic per se but what can I say, I'm a doer more than I'm a feeler. It's followed close by N's book 4 introduction.

Each and every romance route is special and on the whole they give off different vibes. For me, personally, Morgan is the one. Her emotional development and the way she understands you and somehow, without herself realising it, she knows you understand her... I have to say that all the moments with her in the demo reflect that.

A: that kiss in b3 is so romantic! but also watching the fireworks in b2 F: the research scene in b3 in the garden, and the date in b3. when they didn’t care about being hurt in b3 M: can i have tonight in b3 and getting the mc their drink of choice in b4 LT: the ice cream date in b2 and do it for N etc that A says in b3

It's also extra special to me if MC was bitten on the wrist by Murphy. The extra flavor it brings me is divine ❤️ I'm have many others but that's the first one that came to my mind.

In M romance there is a clear break between the steaming hot romantic moments and the more quiet, sentimental moments. I think there is nothing more romantic than that scene in the book 3 intro where M just speak about they're confusing feelings for the MC just speaking frankly. Well I just said there is no specific scene and I just said one so I guess I just a sucker for M 😅

At first finding them a nuisance/an incompetent human and now they believe in MC more than anyone else and would fight even their oldest friends to assert MC's say in their life as well as advocating for the MC's decisions
