OP 18

A.N: I haven't done one of these in a while so I thought I'd post another. BTW, has anyone watched the latest Fantastic 4 movie? Is it any good? Also, I've never watched Captain Marvel and am thinking about doing so but I've heard mixed opinions on that movie. What do you guys think?

Invisible Woman -

Scene 1 -

"A feeble attempt," Doctor Doom goated as he blasted The Thing off of his feet, shooting him halfway down the street where he bashed off of the hood of a car.

Doctor Doom took a moment to look at the remaing Fantastic Four, there was Johnny Storm. He might have been formidable with his powers but his brashness and comparitively dim mind made him barely worth mentioning. Then there was Reed Richards, his arch enemy who gained the ability to stretch his body far beyond what the average person was capable of. Doom would take great pleasure in destroying him. And finally, there was Sue Storm, who had gained the ability to produce force fields and become invisible. At one point, he was in love with her. It was easy to fall for a woman like her, beautiful and kind; she would have made a good wife. Alas, she had been stupid and denied him.

"I will end you all," Promised Doom, raising his hands. He was about to make good on his word when he suddenly heard a large crash from behind him, one that shook the very ground he was on.

"Excuse me," A gravely voice called from behind him. "Do you have a moment to talk about your car insurance?"

"What are you.." Doom turned around and stopped speaking for two main reasons. Firstly, being his discovery of just who had been talking to him. A large being that was roughly fifteen feet tall, covered in muscle with red skin, four eyes and four arms. The second reason was the Honda Odyssey that was swung at him, hitting him like a bat to a ball, sending him flying far away and through the nearest building.

"Whoa!" Johnny gasped as he flew over and landed in front of him. "That was cool!"

"Who are you?" Sue asked, staring up at him.

"The name is currently 'Four-Arms', but you can call me Harry."

Scene 2 -

"Ah, Johnny," Reed said, walking into the kitchen where he spotted Johnny pouring himself some cereal. An odd thing to have for dinner, but admittedly an improvement over some of the other things that Reed had seen Johnny eat. "I'm looking for Sue. I need her opinion on my latest project."

"Last I checked, she was watching TV with Harry." Johnny shrugged.

"Pardon," Reed said with a small frown. "She's with Harry? When did Harry get here?"

"Five hours ago," Johnny resisted the urge to sigh. "You would have realised if you actually spent some time out of the lab like you promised to."

"Sorry," Reed said with a small wince. "But what is Harry doing here?"

"He brought Sue to Avengers Tower for a meeting," Johnny explained. "After that, he brought her back, and the two decided to hang out. I'm still waiting on the two of them to wise up and ask each other out." Johnny said with a shake of his head.

"Ask each other out?" Reed repeated. "I...are you sure Harry is the right person for Sue?" Reed asked slowly.

"He treats her nicely enough," Johnny shrugged. "He's fun to hang out with, he can handle himself in a fight and he looks after her. And he gives her the attention she deserves." The 'unlike someone else' directed at Reed was left unsaid, with Johnny being only partially sure that Reed understood the silent jab. He had watched Susan all but throw herself at Reed for a while, the man being more focused on his projects than he was with Sue. Johnny really didn't mind that, since Reed's projects were important. But it was hard to watch his sister pine for a man who either didn't notice or wouldn't tell her that he wasn't willing to be in a full-time relationship since he couldn't or wouldn't be able to give her the attention she deserved. But now, as soon as Reed found out that Sue was possibly going to end up with another guy, he was concerned. 'And people think I'm difficult,' Johnny thought to himself.

Scene 3 :

"And just who exactly is this?" Namor said, eyeing up Sue like she was a prize catch.

"That'd be my girlfriend," Harry said, stepping inbetween Namor and Sue.

"Surely, a woman as beautiful deserves better than a lowly warrior like yourself," Namor said silkily, sending a rather irritating smirk to Harry.

"I think that's up for me to decide, thank you," Sue said, crossing her arms.

"A challenge, I think," Namor decided, ignoring Sue and talking to Harry. "You versus me, the winner gets the lovely Sue Storm."

"She's not a prize, asshole." Harry glared at him.

"I'm sorry, are you too much of a coward to except?" Namor taunted. Harry took in a deep breath before turning to face Sue.

"Please?" Was all he said. She stared between the two for a small while.

"You had better win," Sue sighed while giving him a small nod.

"Thanks!" Harry grinned before pressing down on his Omnitrix and moving the dial. "Hmm, Heatblast? Tempting, but no. No, no, Diamonhead? No, not him"

"What are you doing?" Namor asked with a frown.

"Give it a sec," Harry told him before finding the form he wanted. "Ah, here we go. By the way, Namor, you ever been to Muspelheim?"

"What?"

"I went that with Thor the other week, seeing your confusion I'm going to guess you probably haven't been there. Meaning, you probably never faced a fire giant before." Harry said before slamming his hand down on the watch, transforming himself. One flash of light later and he was now twenty feet tall, making a concious effort to stop himself from becoming bigger. He had three toes and three fingers (plus thumbs). His red skin was covered only in a black loincloth, a black two-pronged crown ascended from his head while flames generated from the rest of his body. "I'm going to kill your whole face," The Fire-Giant said before kicking Namor back into the ocean.

Comments

I haven't seen many Marvel films since face 4. About the Captain Marvel movie? I think Wonder Woman did a better job. CM tries too hard in portraying the "empowered female hero" and fails
