Omnitrix test chapter

A.N: Hi guys. Firstly, I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of your support. I've read every comment on my last post. I got to be honest when I say it means a lot to me. I'm in a thinking process at the moment on how I'm handling everything. I've even got some good ideas on how to improve my patreon from some of you. It's been really helpful.

Anyway, i did originally say that the vote for the new story would close on the 26th but I've decided to give you guys some test chapters before that happens so I've extended the poll to the 30th. If you guys want to change your minds then you have time to do so. Thanks for taking the time to read this, I hope you enjoy the chapter.

(.)

Plot: He never expected to be tossed into the Marvel universe of all places. But at least he wasn't completely defenceless, thanks to his new Omnitrix. Pairing will be voted on. (MC will be named Harry for this test chapter)

Scene 1 -

"Damn," I sighed as I got into my makeshift lab. Though the lab might not be an accurate description, seeing as it was basically just this place I was squatting in. Apparently, showing up in a world with no paperwork or ID made it difficult to get a job. The very few people I know all assumed I was an illegal immigrant in the country, which I kind of was but it's not like it was my fault.

Anyway, my lab did look scientific enough for the casual person. I had microscopes, beakers, random machines, etc. And I had no clue how to use any of it, thankfully, though, I had access to the mind of someone who did. If it were up to me, then I would have been here all day, but no, I had to go for my shift at the local takeaway. It was funny, really. I had access to the Omnitrix, arguably something in the top ten most powerful devices in all of fiction. And yet, I had spent my day trying to not get flour on it.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much I could do. It had been the closest and nearest option that didn't demand paperwork, and it gave money in cash, which was the best I could have since I had no bank account at the moment. I'd only been in this world for the better part of two weeks and had spent a small portion of that time travelling, nearly getting killed, travelling, nearly getting killed and then setting up a base, before I nearly got killed again. Besides, I was not ready to go big time yet. In a world full of super soldiers and aliens, I needed to take the time to prepare.

I walked over to the wall that had a set of purple armour on display. It belonged to 'The Wizard', someone whom I had fought not even two days ago, along with the other three members of the Frightful Four. It's a shame that Thundra had tried to kill me as well; she was hot. Anyway, with the help of Upgrade. I had managed to get the armour off of him and get it back to my place. Honestly, it was kind of annoying that the guy was a villain. The armour he created was pretty good, not really as cool as Iron Man, but damn if it wasn't useful. Enhanced strength, flight, long-range weapons, and that's not even mentioning the anti-gravity discs that came with it.

I couldn't help but look down at the Omnitrix, such a powerful creation, yet the one thing that held it back from being too OP was the fact that it kept timing out. That was why I brought Wizard's armour, I needed something to have my back for when that happened. Touching the button on the omnirtix, a green hologram of an alien appeared. I turned the dial until I found the right one I wanted and pressed down on it. In a flash of light, I had disappeared and was replaced by a much, much smaller being. A grey, frog-like creature in a white suit with a black stripe going down the middle, the omnitrix dial was on my back.

"Grey Matter!" I called, as was tradition. It had to explain what it was like to be Grey Matter; humans liked to think they were smart. As Grey Matter, it was like they were one-eyed dogs trying to be smart. I could look at something and work things out instantly, I could think up things at speeds that didn't seem possible for the human brain. As a human, I had to honestly admit that I wasn't the smartest bloke around. As Grey Matter, I could press the best minds of our time with ease. I hoped over to the suit I created, much like Azmuth in that one Ben 10 movie, I thought it'd be beneficial to have a suit that was the height of a normal person to make up for my small height. Now, my brain could work in something the size of a human. I stared at the Wizard's armour, it would take a while, but I was fairly sure that I could improve upon it and then some.

Scene 2 -

"You know, this was not what I expected when I woke up this morning," I said as I sat in the front passenger seat of the car. Sitting to my left in the driver's seat was Sam Wilson AKA the Falcon! And if that wasn't exciting enough, then I had Steve Rogers AKA Captain Bloody America sitting right behind me. He might not be in his costume right now, but he did have his cool shield! Sitting in the seat to his left was Black Widow, also dressed in casual clothes and to her left was Jasper Sitwell, not someone I recognised from the comics, but apparently the dickhead had been a Shield worker who had defected to Hydra.

"Join the club," Sam snorted as he drove, hanging just barely over the speed limit.

"Project insight will be launching soon," Natasha pointed out, keeping us on track.

"Yeah, well what's the plan again? Fair warning, I am only really good at stuff involving large-scale destruction," I replied.

"Once we get there, we'll use Sitwell to bypass the DNA scanners," Steve began but was quickly interrupted by Sitwell.

"Are you nuts?" Sitwell demanded. "Even if you -" A window shattering made me fully look back in time to see a metal hand grab Jasper and toss him out of the car and straight into an oncoming truck.

"Shit!" I cursed out just as Nat drew her gun, before she could fire, a bullet shot through the roof. She leapt out of her seat and onto mine, not really caring that I was already occupying it, which was how I ended up with a life-sized Black Widow in my lap. Unfortunately, I was too busy hoping I didn't die to really enjoy it. Steve, in the meantime, had raised his shield over his head and blocked several bullets before Natasha opened fire and shot up in the ceiling. "Your poor car!" I told Sam before pressing the button on my omnitrix, I wasn't really able to see what alien had popped up since Natasha was leaning on my watch-arm.

I was about to point this fact out when I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. A red-gloved hand was coming towards them. It burst through the window, and I had barely managed to react in time and move Nat out of the way. At that point, a trio of metal claws popped out of the hand, scratching Nat's shoulder.

"Crap baskets!" I blurted out before the clawed hand grabbed me by the shoulder. Instinctively, I knew what was about to happen and managed to push Nat off just before I was pulled out of the car, my body was halfway out when I managed to slap my free hand down onto the Omnitrix. I wasn't sure which alien I'd get, but I knew that whatever it was would be much more durable than I was. In a flash of green light, I was replaced with an orange-furred alien, if I was capable of speaking I would have yelled out 'WildMutt'.

Being Wildmutt was a lot like what I envisioned it would be like to be 'Daredevil', seeing the world not with eyes but with every other sense. I could sense two people on the roof of the car, one had a metal arm, while the other I recognised instantly, the claws popping out of his hands did he trick. We were being attacked by the Wolverine!

Scene 3 -

"How many damn times do we have to fight Hydra before they get the hint and give up already?" I complained as I dropped hundreds of feet down towards the ocean in front of me. Using the Wizard's gear, I easily slowed myself until I was hovering just above the water. A quick slap of the Omnitrix and I transformed into Ripjaws. I landed in the water and swam through it with ease. The intel we were given appeared to be correct, as there were indeed robots underneath the boat. It didn't take long to rip through them, as I neared the boat, I leapt out of the ocean and onto one of the lower decks, hitting one guy in the face with my knee as I landed.

A quick tap of the Omnitrix and I transformed into Diamonhead in time to receive a large burst of bullets that bounced off my chest. I ran towards the shooter, grabbing him and tossing up at the top deck where he smashed into a guy I saw aiming a shot gun at me.

"Hey Freak," A voice called from behind. I turned around in time to see a man holding up a sonic cannon. "Get ready to -aargh!" The man was cut off by a bullet to the head. Once he had dropped to the floor, Punisher landed next to him.

"You're welcome," He said, removing his parachute.

"I had it handled," I snorted, mostly, I was just trying to sound cool. My gaze drifted down to the canon that had been dropped on the floor. Hydra had been studying me, along with others. People were all trying to come up with counters.

"Harry," Hill's voice came over our comms. "The other teams have discovered bombs in their ships. It's likely that there's one in your ship as well. Find it and disarm it."

"Understood," I replied before pressing down on the watch. "Xlr8!" I yelled before shooting off at superspeeds. After five seconds, I was back and slid to a stop next to Castle. "Found a bomb in the engine room, I thought about deactivating it, but I got a better plan," I told Frank, who was staring at me with an odd look in his eyes.

"You ever going to run out of aliens?"
