OP 21
Added 2025-11-18 15:17:59 +0000 UTCA.N: Hi guys, hope you're doing okay. I was hoping to get some work done on fanfiction but for some reason it's not working at all and I have to actually go to work soon and don't really have time to fix it so I figured I'd just write up a quick OP chapter before I head off.
Also, P.S., my 'friend' has this 'incredibly legal' movie app that has decided it's not working anymore, and that was 'his' main way of watching stuff due to a limited budget. Does anyone have any suggestions for stuff that won't infect 'his' devices with viruses and bugs? Once more, asking for a friend.
Anyway, enjoy the chapter.

Azula from avatar the last airbender-
Scene 1 -
The alley smelled like wet brick and bad decisions. Six men lay groaning on the asphalt—two unconscious, one whimpering, one pretending to be unconscious in hopes Azula wouldn’t hit him again.
She stood in the centre of the chaos she’d made, hair slightly mussed, expression perfectly composed. A faint curl of blue flame danced along her fingertips as she inspected her surroundings with regal annoyance.
“This world,” she declared, “is filthy.”
A crunch of glass under a heavy step made her turn sharply.
At the mouth of the alley stood a tall crystalline figure—emerald diamond plates reflecting the neon city lights. His forearms were shaped like blades, his posture alert but non-threatening.
He spoke, voice echoing faintly.
“You new here?”
Azula straightened. “Another strange creature. Wonderful.”
“I am wonderful," The creature agreed. "In this form, I'm 'Diamondhead'," A flash of green light followed, Azula closed her eyes for the briefest of moments, opening them up a second later and seeing that the creature had been replaced by a comparatively normal-looking guy. "But you can call me Harry." He told her.
For once in her life, she didn’t have words ready.
“You… transformed,” she said slowly.
“Yeah. Diamondhead. One of my forms.” He glanced at the scattered thugs. “Looks like you didn’t need help.”
“Please. They broke more easily than poorly fired clay pots.” Azula sniffed.
“Right…” Harry rubbed the back of his neck. “So, uh—nice to meet you, Princess Azula."
"Finally," She said with a suffering sigh. "Glad somebody knows who I am. These imbeciles didn't even recognise me. Now, I've had a long day, so I'd apprectiate it if you direct me towards the Fire Palace." She 'suggested'.
"Right...this is going to take some explaining.
Scene 2 -
Machine-gun fire tore through the snowy woods as Hydra soldiers scrambled for cover. Above the chaos, the Avengers cut their way through the base’s defences with Iron Man streaking overhead, Captain America driving his motorbike between vehicles, Thor flying around and swinging his hammer like it owed him money.
Azula dropped from a perch, spinning into a kick that sent a wave of blue fire spiralling across the ground. Three Hydra troopers were hurled into the snow, their armour smoking.
“You people call yourselves a global threat?” She called out. “I’ve literally seen children more dangerous than you!” She taunted. A Hydra robot charged from behind. Azula didn’t bother turning. “Darling, get that for me, please.” She said lazily, hurling a firebolt at a different robot. A loud noise came from behind her, sounding like a meteor crash. She turned around in time to see Four-Arms throw the robot into the side of a jeep.
“You could have gotten that," Four-Arms said.
“Oh, I could have,” Azula said, stepping out of his way as he ripped a missile launcher off a jeep. “But your dramatic entrances do add a certain… flavour.” She grinned right before he tossed it straight at a group of approaching soldiers.
"Glad you're enjoying yourself," He grinned down at her before spotting more Hydra soldiers approacing. "Listen up," He called. "You can fight me, or you can fight her." He offered. The soldiers all froze at that, staring at his fifteen-foot, pure muscle before staring at the much smaller Azula. A second later they all aimed their guns at her, her eyes lit up with excitement, lightning danced around her fingertips.
"Big mistake!" She grinned
Scene 3 -
Azula entered the lounge wearing casual Earth clothes—though somehow she still looked annoyingly regal. She was expecting silence, maybe the hum of the city out the window. Hoping to get a few moments alone, she was really coming quite addicted to these 'telvision programs' that Harry had shown her.
Instead, she walked into a sight that made her pause mid-step.
Black Widow leaned back on the sofa, legs crossed, giving Harry a sly smile. Wanda Maximoff sat beside him, twirling a curl of red energy between her fingers like a playful ribbon.
Both women were clearly flirting. Though Azula suspected Harry didn't realise that, he was a dense idiot at times. Still, he was HER dense idiot. She watched as Natasha smirked as he finished telling some apparently amusing story.
“I'm telling you right now, that is not physically possible,” She told him.
"Tell that to Jurry Rigg," Harry huffed amusedly. "Impossible is more of a suggestion for him." He added, earning a giggle from Wanda.
"Tony is still trying to work out how he managed to control Tony's armour with your PlayStation."
Azula felt a tight coil in her stomach.
Jealousy.
An emotion she normally dismissed as weakness.
Yet here it was, flaring hotter than blue flame.
She stepped forward.
“Ahem.” Three heads turned. Natasha arched an eyebrow in mild amusement.
“Hello, Azula," She said with a smirk that Azula was itching to blast off her face.
Wanda smiled warmly. “Hello, Azula.” Azula ignored the two homewreckers and turned to Harry.
“I’ve been looking for you,” she said, tone firm and professional. “We have training scheduled. You remember, you would be training with me as Heatblast."
"Wait, I agreed to that?" He frowned.
“Yes,” Azula said, walking toward him with deliberate calm. “Now.”
"Azula, are you sure I can't possibly keep him for a few more minutes?" Natasha said innocently, though her twinkling eyes told Azula that the russian spy was enjoying herself far too much.
"Fairly sure," Azula said tightly, looping her arm around Harry's the instant he stood up before all but pulling him out of the room.
"She's so jealous," Wanda smiled before turning to Natasha. "I'd be careful though, she could hurt you."
"Nah," Natasha said confidently. "At this point, it's a game. If she gives in, I win. And she knows that."
