Si Marvel test chapter
Added 2026-01-31 22:25:30 +0000 UTCA.N: Hi guys, haven't had much time to write these last couple of days due to family stuff and some overtime at work. Hence why I posted a test chapter yesterday and today. I'm hoping to post a proper chapter soon. Anyway, this chapter is basically about what happens if someone gets powers while ending up in the marvel universe. If you guys like this chapter then let me know and I'll create a DC version.
Plot: A regular man finds himself teleported into the Marvel universe, where he ends up with powers. It is not as fun as it sounds, especially when he starts off in WW2. Like most test chapters, I'm just going to call him 'Harry' because I'm lazy. (I am considering making him Harry Potter with limited magic, but for now, he's not Harry Potter)
Scene 1 -
"So," Bucky said as he and Harry sat together in the car. Bucky was in the driver's seat, and Harry was next to him in the passenger seat. The two were currently driving up to a location where a bunch of Hydra goons were waiting to be taken out by the 'America's righteous fist of justice', or as Harry knew him, Steve. The two were supposed to meet up with him at a base and plan their next assault. "What do you think about Steve and Peggy?"
"I think he should hurry up and insert it already," Harry whispered under his breath.
"Huh?"
"Just saying that I think the two would be good together, if Steve ever finds himself capable of asking her out," Harry replied, earning a small chuckle from Bucky. "God, this is weird. We're about to head over to base to work on plans to end a war with a super soldier, but not without discussing his love life first."
"You talk like you're normal," Bucky snorted, amusedly. "No offence, but didn't you toss a tank the other day?"
"No, I tipped it over," Harry said at once.
"My point is, you and Steve are the super soldiers here." Bucky continued. "The two of you can pull off stuff that most of us couldn't even dream of." He added just as they arrived. "Though I still don't understand how yours works."
"Do you understand how Steve's works?" Harry asked genuinely.
"No, but it's less confusing than yours." Replied Bucky. "He gets a special serum, becomes extra strong and three times as big. You didn't get a serum."
"I got experimented on after Hydra caught me,"
"Yeah, hope that never happens to me." Bucky shivered. "Still, I don't get how your powers work."
"I have tactile telekinesis," Harry explained with a sigh that suggested he had already explained this many times. "It's basically telekinesis that's limited to my body and what I'm touching."
"Okay...what's telekinesis?" Bucky asked, earning another sigh.h"Long story short, body touches, but mind lifts." Harry told him. "Anyway, we were supposed to meet some guy there, what was his name?"
"Didn't you pay attention in the briefing?"
"Assume that I didn't."
"James Howlett."
"Oh, that's...wait! What?!"
Scene 2 -
"Fought through a mother-fucking war just to end up fighting some goddamn aliens on a goddamn Tuesday!" Harry cursed, ripping a door off a car and tossing it at a chitauri soldier, knocking him off his feet.
"Don't be such a baby," Black Widow said from next to him, leaning over a car to shoot some more soliders.
"Don't call me a baby, I'm older than you." Harry said, lifting the car entirely and tossing it up in the air, taking out a chitauri chariot. A lone soldier landed next to him, it fired its laser blaster at him. The blast bounced off his telkinetic shield and took out the soldier.
"What would you like me to call you then? Maybe, Daddy," She said with a saucy wink.
"You know what, yeah," Harry said, satisfied. He leapt into the air, shooting hundreds of feet into the sky. While he hadn't yet mastered flight, he was able to push himself really, really far in the air. He hopped off a few buildings before landing next to Steve and Thor. Thor, looked exactly as you would expect from a 'god', very handsome and tall. Steve looked like he could be his brother. Both Harry and Steve were thankfully able to maintain their young looks from being frozen in ice for many decades.
"So," Harry said casually just before Thor smashed a chitauri's head with his foot. "Anyone found a way to stop these things yet?"
"No," Thor said with a shake his head.
"Our best right now is to just keep them from hurting anyone while someone works that out." Steve replied.
"Brilliant," Harry said dryly before he noticed Thor's hammer on the floor. "If you're going to fight a war, you might want this." He said, picking up the hammer and holding it out for Thor, who looked more surprised by that than he was by the entire war going on.
"Only the most worthy can wield Mjolnir," Thor said, eyes wide as he absently took the hammer from Harry who had an amused expression on his face.
"Doesn't count if you can use your powers to lift it up."
Scene 3 -
"I got to confess, I'm not entirely sure why an 'Avenger' would be meeting with a simple school headmistress," She said, standing in front of her desk.
"I'm not here to meet a simple headmistress," Harry said as he stared at her. The woman in front of him had a decent body, dressed in the typical sort of clothes one would expect from a headmistress. Hair short and brown and her face was rather plain. But he knew better.
"I'm not entirely sure what you mean."
"You don't need to pretend, I know it's you." He told her.
"I'm not sure what you're..."
"Raven," Harry said softly. "You don't need to hide from me." The two stared at each other, and for a long time, it seemed like time had frozen. At least, it did until she rushed forward, smashing into him with a thunderous kiss. The two held each other tightly before she pushed him off. In front of him, she changed her entire look. Where there was once a plain-looking headmistress, there was now a voluptuous, blue-skinned woman with red-hair and white clothes.
"I thought you were dead," She said, breathing hard as she looked at him. She remembered meeting him for the first time in the war. She had been captured by soldiers, every single one of them wanted her dead, locked up or experimented on. Until he arrived, he got her out of the cage and convinced everyone else that she was better off alive.
"I would have told you otherwise, if not for the fact that I was frozen in ice for seventy years with only Steve for company." He told her. "Look, there's a lot I want to tell you. But I don't have much time."
"Meet me tonight, 10 pm, the restaurant on Fifth Street."
"Okay," He said before she pressed her lips against his again. He never considered himself the smartest of individuals, but even he knew better than to tell her that he had already been kissed earlier today. Especially when it was Rogue that had done it.

A.N: Hope you liked the chapter. I was debating which power to give him, at one point I considered Clayface like powers. But at the last moment went with tactile telekinesis. Let me know what you guys think. As I said before, if you like it, I'll make a DC version.
Thanks for reading.

This definitely seems fun, and I think you could get creative with the idea of Hydra experimenting on him. He could go in with a set of Harry Potter spells, rather than being Harry Potter, and then gained additional abilities due to the experimentation. Maybe he even has a choice of spells before he goes in lol. One spell in each category, maybe? Charms: Reparo (the Mending Charm), Feather-light charm, or Fidelius Charm Transfiguration: Evanesco (Vanishing Spell), Switching Spell, or Self-Transfiguration DADA: Protego Maxima, Immobulus, or Expelliarmus Dark Arts: Avada Kedavra, Imperius Curse, or Protego Diabolica Mental: Occlumency or Legilimency Since the main character would be limited to basically four active spells, he will eventually be able to master them and push their capabilities further than normal. Like the mending charm, eventually being able to work on wounds, instant self transfiguration, the immobilizing or shield charm, working on a very large area, and so on. The Hydra experimentation could get fun, since you could add things like them a plane around with fossilized DNA that turns out to be from the dark elves or Frost Giants. This would give him a unique appearance, increases physical capabilities, and a broader spectrum of powers, that could have interesting interactions with his magic, even limited. Plus, since he is limited with his spells, and he might get a stronger body, those spells can get very strong, with very bendable interpretations of their capabilities. He might not get to sorcerer supreme level, but also not someone you want to casually mess with either.
