DEV News CYB0.3 (Part 2)

The last few days I've been working on the routes and environments.

The daily tasks as a policewoman are in place and I am setting up a repeatable system with three phases for the free roam:

Day - Work at the police station or visit the central district (shopping place, routes in police station, WIP)

Evening - Increasing character bonding, Jobs (to be developed)

Night - Slayer phase (to be developed)

Charlotte route - WIP

The data is multiplying as well as the ideas and I try not to make things too complex as this can obviously create bugs but can be discouraging if there are too many things to manage.

So my philosophy is always the same: make a simple event and finish it then eventually come back to it later to make it more detailed or complex.

I wonder if you will like the free mode and if it will not be too repetitive so I try to balance it with plots and the main story, it is a rather perilous exercise and only your tests will allow to see where it is.

So I'm thinking of releasing a new version in July but I have no idea how long it will be, it will be mostly a deeper test of the game mechanics and some roads will be incomplete...but I need to be able to test on a large scale to prevent mistakes or conflicts. I hope you share this vision which I think will be the key to a good game in the end of its development.

Don't forget that it is still in its early stages and that mistakes can happen or unforeseen events.
