Dev Log: All Official Updates will now be released here, and other news...

So, if you guys haven't been keeping up with our socials or the game page, I recently got an entitled troll that wouldn't stop harassing me on the game page. This isn't new. I've gotten haters before, I've gotten spam, but this is the first time I've gotten actively harassed in public by an entitled so-called "fan" who didn't like that I responded curtly to Android demands.

I had been hard at work on the next update since January. It was particularly difficult for me to write because of the branching outcomes, with the way I've been developing each step, making sure they felt weighty enough to include, and tied together coherently.

And then I got that obnoxious, insensitive troll, and I asked myself... What am I doing here?

I haven't played games or watched new shows since January. There were events that I canceled on. Commissions I didn't get. Just to finish a free update in a timely manner for ingrates on Itch.

So, I've decided to transition to Patreon only, because if I'm getting verbally abused, at least you're all paying me, because cash is at least the best apology.

On that note... I'm going to be taking a bit of a hiatus. I usually allocate time and resources at the end of the month to grind for the next update, but I'll be honest, getting that coupled with the hard work I've been doing has made me harbor resentment for this project. And I just need to take a step back to do other things.

I won't be stepping away entirely. I'll still try to get the merch orders out, and do a few things here and there, but I'll probably come back to this next month. I'm hoping time off will help me rediscover why I loved doing this in the first place.

What does this mean for the production though?

It just means it's slowed to a more reasonable, human pace instead of the grind machine I used to be, honestly.

Dev Log as of February

Well, here's my current progress on the next update:

• 15,000 words, first draft FINISHED and partially edited by me. I was like 65% done too, so you know.

• 4 new items from Tay for the carnival

• Around 40 prints for the merch store
