Preps for auction π€

I'm in the middle of workingπ΅ on the Auction Room at black market, create and tweak the mechanics of presentation and selling. The basic idea is to create a much more profitable state π°π°π° for the player when training certain characteristics to fit the theme, rather than just having a large number of all possible skills in the sample.
In the future, this mechanic should be expanded with orders for training special samples.
Also the work flows into things related to the sample's random skills at levels. When checking it, it turned out that there are a number of bugs there π I will write more about the redesign of this system later.

No, it's planned to be a full-blown auction with bidding and a room full of alien connoisseurs. Very likely it won't be full right away, but in time, yes.

2024-09-12 12:42:18 +0000 UTCI'm sure I dropped you a note about this long long ago, but anything you can do to improve the reward/effort relationship has just got to be a 'good thing' What has put me off spending lots of time on this game so far has been that sometimes the effort does not feel as if it was worth the candle. Whatever you do, it will never be 'perfect' nor to everyone's particular taste, but enhancing that aspect can only get you a major 'uptick'. So look forward to seeing what you come up with
