Important: An update on pricing!

OK, so back in September when I started my Patreon, I set the monthly Tier 2 membership to USD $5, which converted to GBP £4.50, and felt like a fair price.
As of this morning, USD $5 is worth £3.88, which is rather less fair for a Brit like me. Who knows what five Dollars is going to be worth by next month?
In the short term, I'm going to put the price up to around about the current equivalent of GBP £4.50- which is USD $6 rounding up. If you're a pathetic, freeloading European like me, you won't notice a difference. If you're an American, then- well- sorry.
In the longer term, there's a bigger question I need to think about. As a proud, pathetic, free-loading European who went to Afghanistan because my Prime Minister at the time thought my country owed a 'blood debt' to America (even though we only finished paying off our WWII loan in 2006), I don't think it's helpful to share my thoughts on the current US administration.
But I've already cancelled my Netflix account, come off Twitter and Facebook and stopped buying things off Amazon. Quite what I do about my Microsoft OS, I don't know. Patreon's a US company too, and I'm having a serious look at whether there's a UK or European alternative. I'll keep you all posted if that's what ends up happening.

This American supports your financial decision and your views. It's only going to get worse. I'll stay as long as I can.
