Still fighting the gate battle...
Added 2025-06-25 19:10:52 +0000 UTCBeen a while since I put anything in the behind-the-scenes folder. Here's some in-progress shots of the gate battle: Once again, with large stories I find myself having to go back and put in extra detail.
In this case, I've realised that there are far too many Elves dying, when I want to give the impression that the Knights are vastly superior warriors fighting a weak and cowardly foe, only able to make a difference through weight of numbers. So I've spent the week going back and giving all the Knights who get killed in the first stages of the fight a few Goblin victims first.
Here, you can see the actual scene- or partial scene- as viewed from the scene camera, and then the same scene viewed from further out, to give a sense of how the compositioning works.
