Ace Attorney studies part 2
Added 2021-02-01 09:15:13 +0000 UTCHi! Sorry for the delay, the studies of this comic is taking me longer than expected. This time I wanted to create more detailed backgrounds, so the last few days I spend a lot of time optimizing the perspective. Since I switched to Photoshop, the process is a bit slow because I am not totally used to this software yet.
Perhaps perspective may seem less important in NSFW content, anatomy and bodies are indeed the main elements, but I think creating atmosphere is very important in a comic.
We all have favorite places to have sex, so I thought creating a detailed environment would better engage readers in the story.
Probably at the beginning this process will takes a little longer, but I am confident that these studies will bring an overall improvement to this and my future comics.
Some notes about the characters
Maya: It was quite difficult to choose her age for this story. In the first game, she is 17 while in the last one she is 28. I thought of a middle ground and I choose 19. She just passed adolescence, when the breasts are fully developed, but her face is not totally the one of a mature woman, I hope I have done a good job.
Phoenix: I've always found him very sexy, maybe for his good guy charm.
I wanted to draw him quite muscular and a little bit hairy to accentuate his masculinity. I had a lot of fun drawing the tuxedo. Unlike Maya's kimono, I was able to find more references to get inspiration from.
Edgeworth and the Judge: They will not be main characters of the story, but they will make some appearances.
