Piccolo's theme music when he showed up was Magus's theme from Chrono Trigger. Akira Toriyama used his character designs for Chrono Trigger and many characters look like DBZ characters. The main character is a redheaded Goku.

As he was Goku's rival for a very long time in DB (OG) and then he kinda just is in every arc of DBZ and continuously gets owned by half the characters and is barely relevant when compared to the Saiyans and Piccolo. I could be wrong on this one though. 3. Freeza only gets 2 1UPs, this is form 2... of 4. Just wanted to point that little bit out... 4. Love you guys, sorry I've not been as active, blame it on me beating Yakuza 0-6 in roughly a month... also Bravely Default in 90hrs between Yakuza 4 and 5...
