Halloween au [plot]
Added 2022-10-31 20:20:56 +0000 UTCThe first days after the restoration of Cyno, Tighnari showed him his house and forest. He told how he found Cyno in the forest, where they are, who Tighnari is and what he does. At the same time, a full moon happened. Cyno wasn't sure if Tighnari knew about their peculiarities, so he was a little nervous, also because of his scars. But just before the full moon, Tighnari said that he had read about werewolves and knew what happens when the moon is full. When Cyno turned, Tighnari just covered him with a blanket, he apologized that he didn't have any clothes for him, but Cyno didn't mind a blanket either. That night, Cyno told his story, how he lived, how the hunters destroyed his village and what they wanted to do with the rest. How the last surviving relatives helped him escape. Tighnari listened without interrupting and at the end of the story offered to stay with him if Cyno had nowhere to go.
Tighnari vacated one of the rooms in his house where he kept all sorts of old things. The room was spacious, so Cyno could easily move around it. He showed to what extent it's possible to reach so that the villagers don't notice him. And that's how their measured life began. Cyno began to inhabit the room, hunt and explore the forest adjacent to the house. He noticed a small garden in the Tighnari's greenhouse and decided to help there. By the next full moon, Nari sewed clothes for him, and Cyno was very grateful. During this time, he has already managed to note that Nari is very different from what he was told in the pack about witches. He could feel his soul and it fascinated him.
Sometimes Cyno accidentally touched something, spilled, etc., but Tighnari was never angry about it, except for one time when Cyno decided to try to cook something while Nari was sleeping. In the kitchen, Tighnari not only cooked food, but also brewed potions, so there were a lot of different ingredients and jars that only Nari could disassemble himself. So when he woke up and saw that some of his potion bottles were half empty, he yelled at the whole house. Then he said that the entrance to the kitchen was closed to Cyno. But after this incident, Tighnari began to teach him how important herbs look and smell, so that if he suddenly stumbles upon them in the forest, he will collect them for Nari. They began to get out into the forest together, sometimes to extract ingredients, but more often just to take a walk. One day Tighnari accidentally twisted his ankle and then Cyno turned into a wolf to carry him on his back.
At first, Tighnari thought that it would be uncomfortable for him to live with another creature, after all, he had been living alone for a long time and was used to it, but to his surprise he liked it. It was fun for him to watch how the huge werewolf trying to carefully transplant flowers, how he fought with a broom to sweep the floor with it, and how reverently he treats Tighnari himself. During the full moons, they decided to cook together and arrange a small dinner in the greenhouse. There was something special about sitting face to face with a full moon and candlelight. After a couple of months, they both noticed that something had changed between them. Tighnari began to take the first steps in their relationship. Then he puts his hand on his wrist, then strokes it. It was difficult for Cyno to hide his feelings because the tail betrayed all of his emotions. And so, during the next full moon, after dinner, Tighnari suggested taking a walk. He was very nervous, although his face showed calmness, his gaze andtwitching ears betrayed him. After walking to a small river, they sat down on an old stump and Tighnari spoke:
- Cyno.. you know... - his hands began to tremble, and his eyes darted from side to side, - lately... - Cyno put one hand on Tighnari's trembling hands, and touched his cheek with the other, as if asking to look at him.
As soon as their eyes met, all the words were unnecessary. The way the moonlight reflected in Tighnari's eyes fascinated Cyno. He approached Nari's face and kissed him.
o.。.:*☆・゚゚・.✧・゚゚・.☆*:.。.o
After their kiss, they became more relaxed and relaxed. Oddly but there was no awkwardness between them. They'd the feeling that they found their soulmates in each other. So the days passed. Now morning hugs and sleeping together have been added to their routine. And everything would have continued like this until one day his parents wanted to visit him. Witches were one of the elite representatives of magical creatures. They'd developed their own infrastructure so they considered other creatures below themselves. Therefore, when Nari's parents unexpectedly arrived and saw a huge werewolf living with their son, a scandal began. They were loving, and often took tg's side, but there were aspects in which they greatly honored traditions and didn't tolerate bickering, so he couldn't tell them that he was in a relationship with a werewolf.
His parents didn't even want to see Cyno, let alone get to know him somehow and listen to Cyno's story. They demanded that Cyno leave Tighnari's house immediately and not approach him. Tighnari was desperate. He loved his parents, but Cyno too. In the end, the parents left first, saying that next time this werewolf was not here. After they left, Tighnari apologized to Cyno for a long time, but he didn't need it. He gently hugged Tighnari, showing that he was close and understood everything. Tighnari didn't know what to do. There were unspoken laws in witch circles and one of them concerned the witch's relationship with other magical creatures. This law forbade them in order to preserve and increase the magical powers of the next generation. Tighnari rarely touched on this topic because for his grandma it was the main education, and the wedding can be played later, although there have already been conversations. Nari left home before this topic was taken seriously. And now his parents have found out that he lives with a werewolf. He didn't know what the consequences would be, but he wasn't about to give up Cyno anyway. He also didn't want to lose his family a second time, no matter what anyone said, a family is a family.
A few days later, he felt that someone had crossed his magical barrier again, and this time it was not only his parents, and also his grandma. She was angry. She wanted to throw Cyno out of the house almost by the the scruff of the neck, but Tighnari didn't allow her to do it.
- TIGHNARI! DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING? HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN OUR LAWS!?
- Please, grandmother, calm down.
- Tighnari tried to calm her down, but she didn't let up.
- HOW CAN I CALM DOWN! YOU LIVE WITH... WITH THIS!
She threw up her hands and her face turned redder with every sentence.
- PLEASE! He has a name and his name is Cyno!
- HA! WHAT DO I MATTER TO HIS NAME! I knew this would happen sooner or later. - her face expressed the highest degree of disappointment.
- That's why witches shouldn't live separately from their family. Tighnari couldn't bear it anymore and asked them to leave.
- Cyno will stay here, period. I know the laws, but these laws were invented 1000 years ago. He's a magical being just like us. No worse and no better. Especially if you don't even know him! It was very painful for grandma to look at Tighnari.
- Darling, you know that's not the only reason we're worried. Attacks of aggression in werewolves often lead to terrible consequences. We're just really worried about you. Then his mother spoke out, seeing how her son was moving away from them again.
- That's enough. You're just looking for additional reasons. Please, go away, please. - Tighnari's voice broke at the last word.
His mother could no longer endure the suffering of her child and left first. Grandma wanted to start her tirade again, but looking at Tighnari and Cyno, she cursed and also left. Tighnari's father didn't say a word.
After the "reunion" with the family Tighnari went out. Cyno was there all the time, giving any support he could. It was the full moon when Cyno was finally able to talk to Nari. That night was full of apologies, soothing kisses and love. Tighnari was slowly coming to his senses. He no longer contacted his family, as they did with him. At some point, he resigned himself to the fact that now his ties were finally severed. He made his choice, again.
While a storm was raging in Tighnari's life, on the other side of the country, this storm subsided in someone. As it turned out, not all werewolves from Cyno's pack died.
A couple of weeks passed, Tighnari slowly returned to normal. It still hurt him to think about the family, but it was better. One day they decided to walk a little away from home, the sun had already set, so they could see stars appearing in the sky. Tighnari was talking about different herbs and mushrooms again, but then Cyno smelled a smell that he thought he would never feel again in this life. Another werewolf came out to meet them, whom Cyno knew very well, because it was his own uncle. The uncle who helped Cyno escape. He saw how the hunters shot him. He kept thinking that he was dead, blaming himself for not being able to do anything. But there was something strange about him. Cyno had only time to throw Tighnari away, when the werewolf swooped down on him with a roar and dug its claws into his body. Blood immediately flowed from the wounds. Cyno growled out of pain, anger and misunderstanding why his uncle attacked him. But then he saw his eyes. Eyes that showed emptiness. His uncle was no longer in them, it was a moving body without a soul. The soul was etched, trampled. Cyno was hurt. His soul was torn apart by the realization of what his family had to go through. It was his punishment. He had to kill him with his own.
While Cyno was lost in his thoughts, the werewolf threw him against a tree and rushed towards Tighnari. He had already drawn a circle on the ground and was able to hurt the werewolf, but his reaction wasn't so good. Cyno only had time to rush to him when the werewolf tore the Tighnari's clothes, grazing his skin. The smell of blood, the sounds of screaming filled Cyno with his head. Consciousness plunged into darkness.
When he came to, there was only blood around him. A sea of blood. He looked down at his hands, he was holding Tighnari. He was very pale, and blood was oozing from his numerous deep wounds. Nearby, Cyno noticed the body of his uncle. He felt sick from the sight of him. But it was difficult to determine because of the lacerations and the absence of some parts that this was the body of a werewolf. There was a fog in his head, arms and legs didn;t obey. The only thought that screamed in his head was that Tighnari was dying. He forced himself to get up. He was scared. He didn't know what to do and where to go, who could help. After some seconds of thought that seemed like an eternity, Cyno found a solution.
Having felt the vibration of the barrier, Tighnari's grandma immediately went out into the yard and froze. In front of her was her biggest nightmare, which became a reality. That's what she was afraid of all the time. She saw a werewolf sitting on his knees, who hugged the same bloodied Tighnari, who practically didn't breathe. Without thinking for a second, she called the whole family, took Nari and told the werewolf to get out so that he no longer dared to approach her grandson.
SONG: Tighnari was dying, everyone felt it. Grandma very quickly ordered to bring the ritual things. It took a lot of magical energy and blood to save a person. When the circle was drawn and all the things were collected, distant relatives formed an outer circle. In their hands were special sticks made of ancient wood, at the ends of which special bells rang. Parents and grandma created an inner circle, usually it should be created by brothers and sisters, but when they were't there, the next of kin replaced them. In the center was a circle where Tighnari lay. Relatives began beating the rhythm with sticks and humming a song, while parents and grandma cut their hands, sacrificing their blood, pronounced a spell. It was very difficult, it was used only in the most emergency situations, because if suddenly someone makes a mistake while singing or casting a spell, nothing will come out. The spell itself had to be cast all the time until the wounds finally healed. Time dragged on for a long time, and the wounds healed very slowly. Many have already held out to the last of their strength. His parents and grandma were sweating, and the mother's hands were shaking, but grandma didn't want to give up. An hour later, they were finally able to rest. Some relatives lost consciousness. Tighnari's condition had stabilized, but there was still a lot to do. When grandma wanted to leave the room, her legs gave way, fortunately they managed to catch her. She understood what she was going for and was ready for it. She said not to worry about her and to take care of her grandson. Tighnari was quickly moved to his room, where they began to treat minor wounds and pour potions. The worst was over.
SONG: Cyno just sat there for a few more seconds, not moving. When Tighnari was taken away from him, he felt like a part of his soul was taken away with him. He couldn't believe that Nari could die, but he saw his blood on his hands and felt the remnants of his warmth. His body was so cold. He was practically not breathing. When Cyno realized that Tighnari was dying because of him, he became overwhelmed with rage and hatred. To himself, to the hunters. He followed the scent. The smell of people who are tearing his soul apart.
He found them. The hunters' settlement. He did not distinguish faces, did not hear screams, did not feel the pain from the bullets that pierced his body. He had one goal - to destroy those who hurt his family.
Silence. No screams, no bellows. And only a lonely howl, telling about the revenge that had been accomplished.

After what happened, Cyno didn't know where else to go but h o m e. He entered the house and collapsed, the red veil of rage and madness fell away and Cyno felt all the wounds that were on his body. Tighnari's voice sounded in his head all the time. He imagined how he scolds him for being so careless and how he later examines him with a restless and loving look. Cyno was sick. He didn't know what was with Tighnari now or if he was alive at all. He wanted to tear his heart out of his chest, but it was no longer there. The heart was in the hands of the witcher.
He lost consciousness. After some time, he came to himself, but his head hurt mercilessly. Regeneration somehow tightened some wounds, but due to Cyno's internal state, he involuntarily stopped the regeneration himself, as if in this way he was punishing himself for everything that had happened. Tighnari would definitely scold him for that. He went to the river to wash off the dirt and blood. When he returned, he applied ointment to the wounds he could reach and wiped the floor behind him. "Well, just look at how much dirt you brought with you! How can that be! Come on, clean it up quickly." A voice sounded in his head. Such a beloved voice. Please. Survive.

Tighnari came to his senses a week later. He jumped up on the bed and immediately hissed in dull pain. Although magic has closed his wounds but phantom pains will haunt him for another month. His mom ran into his room and rushed to hug him. His father and grandma followed. They began to examine him, but Tighnari wasn't up to it. He needed to know where Cyno was and what happened to him. Grandma started yelling at him, so that no more mention of this werewolf! Tighnari didn't care about her words, he wanted to start getting ready to go look for him, but grandma said she wouldn't let him out of the house for at least another week. He needs a good recovery. Tighnari was in no shape to break her barrier, so he agreed with her. He listened to all the instructions from his grandma in order to be alone as soon as possible. When everyone left Tighnari alone to rest, he summoned his familiar. It caused terrible pain, also Tighnari was forbidden to use his magical energy for at least 2 more weeks, but he needed to know what was happening with Cyno. He ordered Hexe to find him and, if necessary, heal his wounds as much as he could.
The familiar quickly found him because he was looking for magical energy. He almost flew into Cyno from behind. Going around the whole body to check if there are any wounds. Cyno didn't immediately understand what was going on, but when the familiar appeared before his eyes, he felt alive for the first time in several days. The logs that he was carrying into the house fell out of his hands, and he himself couldn't move from his place. For several days he believed that Tighnari had survived, but in the depths of his soul there was a fear that he had not. He didn't live these days, but existed. Now he knew that Tighnari was alive.
When the familiar returned to Tighnari, he was also able to breathe a sigh of relief, but as soon as his shoulders relaxed, Tighnari vomited blood. This was the consequence of using magic. Sensing something was wrong, the grandma ran to him. When she saw the blood, she gave him some potions and waited until he drank everything to start her tirade. The parents also came up after hearing the screams.
- Do you want to bring yourself to the grave!? Is this how you decided to thank your family, who barely pulled you out of the other world!!?? Why the hell are you messing with this werewolf so much!!!???
- BECAUSE I LOVE HIM! HOW CAN YOU NOT UNDERSTAND SUCH A SIMPLE TRUTH! - Tighnari shouted breathlessly. Silence reigned, the mom put her hand over her mouth, she could't believe what she heard.
- How... how are you...
- Yes, grandma. The witcher and the werewolf fell in love with each other!
- Not a word more! I will not tolerate such a sound in my house!
- Even if I don't talk about it, it still won't change the fact that we are together! Grandma, how can you not understand... What are you so afraid of? Do you really not care about my feelings? Am I just a good investment in the next generation for you? Who am I to you!?
Grandma had nothing to say. She turned around and left the room. His mother shed bitter tears while his father hugged her, comforting.
- Aren't you going to say anything either, Mom?
- I'm sorry... - her shoulders were shaking.
- What are you asking me to apologize for, Mom? For giving birth to such a son? - Tighnari looked with glassy eyes.
- NO! No... I'm... sorry. I need some time. - she ran out of the room. The father turned around and sat on the edge of Tighnari's bed.
- Are you sure about your choice? - he looked into the very depths of his soul to find answers there.
- Yes, Dad. I chose him and he chose me. When I felt that I was dying, I was calm that I was dying in his arms. This thought made me feel very calm, no matter how creepy it sounded. I love him, father. I love him very much...
Then the father approached and hugged him like a child. With these hugs, he apologized for everything. For the silence, for turning away from him. Tighnari's tears began to flow. He snuggled even closer and felt that he had returned to his childhood.
For the next week, grandma didn't talk to Tighnari and only fed him potions. It was impossible to tell from her face what she was thinking. A couple of days later, his mother came up to him. It was obvious that she was still shocked by Tighnari's confession, but she still loves him very much. After all, this is her beloved son and nothing will change this fact. It will be a very long time before she accepts her son's choice, but she has already begun to take small steps towards this.
When his grandmother said that his condition had stabilized, Tighnari decided to return home the same day. The grandma was silent exactly until the moment when Tighnari began to say goodbye to his parents.
- It's your choice. I'll never be able to accept it, but... I won't stand in your way.
- Granny...
- I WILL NEVER ACCEPT THIS PUPPY INTO MY FAMILY AND I WILL NOT ALLOW HIM TO BE SEEN HERE EITHER! But no one says that you can't create YOUR OWN family with him.
Tighnari started crying and threw himself into her arms. She didn't accept him, she didn't accept their relationship, but she doesn't mind. This is the most important thing for Tighnari.
- Thanks, Grandma. Thank you.
- But don't forget about your first family, dear. Don't look at anything, we all love you.
It was a farewell. They finally let him go.
o.。.:*☆・゚゚・.✧・゚゚・.☆*:.。.o
When Tighnari returned home, his hands were shaking, and not only his hands. He was afraid, afraid that he wouldn't see Cyno at home. When he got to the front door, he held on to the door handle for a few more seconds until the door opened from the other side and Tighnari bumped his face into Cyno's fluffy chest. Cyno immediately picked him up in his arms and began to lick his face and rub by his nose. Tighnari pressed his forehead against his and began to cry.
- I've missed you so much... I was afraid... Even though I sent a familiar to you, I was still afraid someone would attack you again. That you're going somewhere and not coming back.
Cyno couldn't tell him how much he was worried and how he had lost the whole meaning of life until he found out that everything was fine with Tighnari. He could only gently hold his beloved to him.
Cyno told Tighnari who attacked them and what happened after he brought Nari to the family estate. During Tighnari's conversation, they held hands all the time, and sometimes Tighnari touched Cyno's cheek to show his support. Cyno has never been able to let go of his family and forgive himself. But now Tighnari will help him with that. Nari told about the reaction of the family. As he said, their relationship was not approved, but accepted as a fact. He also said that roughly speaking, he has now separated from his family and can create his own.
- Is this how you make me an offer in a veiled way? - Cyno chuckled and brought Tighnari's face closer to him.
- Will you say "yes"? - Tighnari's breath burned Cyno's lips.
- It will always be "yes". - Cyno couldn't resist and pulled Nari to him.
This night has become a witness to how two destinies are intertwined into one.
