Another Tutorial Update! ✨ Demo Drawings ✏️🤍

Hi everyone! 🥰 I hope you’re doing well 🧡

I wanted to give you all another shading tutorial video update! 💬 This morning I continued writing voiceover notes for different sections of the video and after that I got to work on filming several mini demo clips; things like value studies, how value and contrast work, showing what core shadow is and how to add it to faces and objects, etc :)

This drawing is from one of the demos in the video! It’s based on a sculpture reference, and I‘ve always found sculptures to be soooo perfect for studying lighting and shadow so I think it’s perfect for this topic 😌

Tomorrow I’ll be doing one more demo, which will be focused on shading some dramatic shadow and lighting onto a character! Shading a living person is different from shading things like sculptures or objects so I’m excited to get started on covering those key differences for the video 😍

Anywho, I’m going to chill for the evening and get dinner with my family ☺️ I hope you’re all having a lovely day/night! 🤍
