Today I felt so inspired by all the possibilities of the things I can draw now that Mermay is over and Iβm no longer drawing mermaids! π so I started a new sketch of a character with a beach background, using a couple references you saw in the mood boards from todayβs newsletter! πβΊοΈ
Itβs been a while since Iβve drawn a background with a character in it, so itβs going to be a bit of a challenge π
but as a special reward for you guys, Iβll be posting two real-time process videos of this drawing that show an in-depth look at the process! π The first video will cover the sketching portion from start to finish, and the second video will show the coloring & rendering process π₯³βοΈ Since my sketch is already done, the first real-time process video will go up soon so stay tuned! π₯°
Anywho, I canβt wait to share those with you!! π and also, thanks to everyone who shared what theyβre trying to improve on/learn in the newsletter comments today π₯° I love hearing about what you guys are wanting to learn more about and Iβll definitely keep those in mind while I brainstorm for future tutorials, tips, and step-by-steps! πβ¨
