It’s currently 10 pm where I live but I thought I would share a sketch concept I’ve been working on this evening ✨ Lately I’ve been kind of a night owl and I’m currently really enjoying staying up late to draw and sketch 🦉🙈
Earlier this month in the monthly newsletter I made some moodboards to show you guys some of the things I want to explore more with my art, and one of those things is incorporating more plants into my drawings! 🍃 So here’s an idea I’ve had for a little while now that I’m finally trying out! 🥰 I feel like the cactuses will be a challenge for me since I’ve never drawn them digitally before, so we’ll see how it goes! 😅🤞🏼✨
I found some references on Pinterest of desert/cactus photography and I love the dreamy colors in them, so I’m going to try incorporating those into this drawing too 😌 I’m imagining a warm pink glow coming up from the bottom of the canvas and contrasting with the green of the cactuses 😍
Anywho, I hope you’re all having a wonderful day/night!! I’ll update you guys more on what I’ll be working on this week soon 🥰💌
