Hello everyone! ☺️

It’s currently very late where I live, (about 11 pm because I’m a night owl these days! 🙈) but I wanted to share some progress on the skin tutorial with you! 🥰

Since this month’s tutorial video will be all about how to paint skin & how to render different skin tones, I prepared some sketches today that are based on 3 different skin tones which I’ll be coloring in the video 😌 and I included the references in this post that I’ll be using in the video for inspiration! ✨ There are so many variations of skin tones in the world, so I’m doing my best to cover techniques that will help you guys paint any skin tone 🥰🍊 I’m working on the filming now and will continue filming tomorrow! 🎥

In other news, I’m super excited because the June studio vlog is DONE 😍🎉

It’s a cozy video with a little bookstore adventure, unboxing prints for the studio, getting a new fiddle leaf tree, and lots of drawing 💌 I’ll be posting it tomorrow for all Devoted Dragonfly patrons!!✨

Anyways, it’s gonna be a big day of filming tomorrow so I gotta sleep 🦉 I hope you’re all having a lovely day/night 🌙✨
