GREAT REACTION AYDIN!!! i was cackling so hard when you were softly coming around to understanding and sympathizing with jiwoo since ep.7 because your beef with him ran SO deep đââđ but it just goes to show how well-written this show is. we got deep character development and a look into the psyche of someone who is deeply depressed/insecure, and thinking they were undeserving of love. and seojun with his own traumas, who manifested it differently than jiwoo. who clung to his love so desperately; equally afraid of abandonment. whereas you left season 1 with some doubts about them working out as a couple, s2 was so needed to show their growth and at the end of s2, you truly believe theyâll now be able to make it. one thing i wish viki translated better was their confrontation at the end of ep 9/beginning of ep 10. jiwoo was pleading with seojun. he insinuated that unlike seojun, he couldnât go through the things seojun did to try and get him backâhe was admitting that he was weak, and not strong enough like seojun. when seojun asks âwhat is this? a threat?â and viki translated it âno, itâs a requestâ the true depth of the translation is âno, iâm begging you.â because atp, he really was begging seojun⌠that part hits me in the feels so hard ;u; and itâs so easy to understand why seojun forgives him immediately. he can see how hard it is for jiwoo, and he can empathise. and of course, he loves him. and director hwang daseul is a genius when itâs revealed that the very first scene in episode 1, is actually a look into the future!!! after they get back together, that was shown in ep 1âwhen i saw that the very first time i yelled. it wasnât that they were perfect before (jiwoo hadnât even said i love you to seojun in their one year together), it was that they worked towards it. truly *chefâs kiss* on the director and writerâs part. also i love that they show how much jiwooâs changed in the little details (very much show donât tell, as you said). like him being more friendly to others, or riding into town in his rich boyfriendâs jaguar (something old jiwooâs pride wouldâve never allowed haha). a kbl hasnât topped tms2 for me yet, thanks so much for reacting to it itâs truly a gem :â)

2025-04-04 06:58:31 +0000 UTCGreat reaction. Ji Woo's growth through the season was good and I can see them working out now since they have both grown but it still pisses me off how much he put Seo Joon through. I agree that the writing and the development of this show is different to most BLs...
