CN: "If you knew...what would you think of me?" "Did I upset you or...did I hurt you?" "Do you really think I don't trust you?" "This is going to be another one of those 'things you pretend never happened between us' moments?" (added the word moments, it's not originally there) Possible analysis here: Their relationship isn't them being rivals or lovers, villains or heroes, miraculous holders of opposite purposes (Creation and Destruction). Their relationship is just built on unanswered questions that they're trying to get answered. Maybe it's individually answered questions or maybe it's together. Other than that: Great artwork and story telling!

To me, it seems they don't kiss because they aren't "together." Kisses are for partners, and they aren't that any longer. (They're splitting hairs, obviously, but you get what I mean.)
