The back of the turtle shell comes with strap holders that you can use to fasten this shell to your back or hold up the front shell portion.
It would be in your best interest to check the sizing on this one, to make sure it fits your body size. Best way to do this is to use a program like armorsmith and watch youtube videos on it!
