R2R V-1008 (August 2023 Update)

The August 2023 update for Ready to Reform, version V1-008, available now for Patrons at the Reformer tier or higher!

What's included?

This update is over 12000 words - I never planned for such a large update but here we are! The length does vary based on choices though.

Finally, your girlfriend is back in the story! It also adds an additional clothing system ;)

I'm actually going to continue a little more work on this one in the next couple of days, to thoroughly test it, and possibly add a few more pictures. If you had any feedback, please don't hesitate to do so here or on Discord.

My usual big update disclaimer once again: Please do not expect updates to be as big as this while I'm still working full time! This month really pushed me hard lol

Bugs and Issues fixes:

• Issue where Jessica got stuck in a loop if you asked her be your lookout before Dean, fixed.
• Paper background on some notes was hard to read in dark mode. Should be easy to read now.
• Message added to your private bathroom, which tells you you can't shave body when out of energy.
• Temporary cut off certain options for the girlfriend. This is because development will be focused on the encouraging version of her first.
• After the visit from girlfriend where you open up to her, you can't call her the same day.
• Some general writing tune ups to earlier sections.
• You can't do certain things on the day of Keaton's event, such as use phones or see visitors.
• If you visited the encouraging version of your girlfriend but forget to call her, she'll call you on day of Keaton event.
• Changes to the way the phones works, make it so you can't call close to the Keaton event. Tested on a few routes, but not all - please report if issue found.

Minor Spoilers:

• Reload from the Keaton section to access the new content. Keep a save file from this point too!
• To start the new content, go to the phones and ring your girlfriend.
• Mild spoilers: After the phone call, you'll experience more when you go to sleep, and the new content ends after the visitor's room part.
• A new clothing system is added, after completing the new content, go to your room and try changing clothes to find it.

What's next?

Next month I will be working on a new side affair (side quest). The reason I chose that instead of Dr Mifune is that behind the scenes I need do some much needed organisation and planning for what's ahead!

I'll aim for another release next month of 21st September.
