Bolt Catcher (sketch)
Added 2023-02-07 23:24:07 +0000 UTCAside from physical fighting, I also plan to have some elemental manipulation that both friends, enemies, and certain members of the populace can utilize. Mostly because I personally think it's fun to have a little bit of "magic" in there. To some, this practice comes easier and others, harder. Acquiring certain items scattered and hidden throughout the world can amplify this ability.
But this won't come into play until much later into the story though :P
So for now, here's a sketch of Pepper catching a bolt of lightning. It's a little hard to see because it's so sketchy but there's a little pointy shard in her raised palm. This shard is imbued with the essence of lightning and can be used to summon one when it's recipient is strong enough to stir their essence to trigger it.

These shard ones are scattered throughout the world but they mostly look unremarkable and kinda blend in. The prettier ones get made into things like jewelry or put into ornaments and such.
